Max started to walk away, getting bored of watching the two.

Kaida's hand finally let go of the scissors, causing them to fall to the ground. The blades were blood-soaked.

She pushed his hands away. "Please, if I survived this for over a day, I can survive now. I'll be fine." She said, smiling. "Why do you look like you've been crying?" She could see that his eyes were red.

He heard her remark about him crying. "Stuff got in my eyes, that's all." He lied, though it was believable.

Max walked back to where he last remembered Kaida being, he didn't see her and he started to sniff the ground, picking up her scent. Max saw a 'dead' Kaida and ran over to her.

"So... stuff got in both of your eyes?" She said, looking confused. "Whatever you say."
She shrugged, not caring enough to push further. She got up, still wincing a bit, and gave offered him her hand.
"We should get back!"
