I want to vote @shawo bevause I’m got understanding them… but it might be just me being smooth brained. Can someone else tell me if they find Shawo sus?

The EOD flood of votes is very stress inducing. @Elundor where are you? I’m going to say I’m town reading Elundor - but I need him to come make a case for himself!

My tunnel brain wants to say yes. I haven't caught up with everything but- he appears a lot different on d2 than on d1. A lot more input d2, which I haven't finished going through yet.
I will admit, though, I have a tendency to tunnel- focus on one or two people and then end up not questioning anyone else.

Okay time for a read on everyone finally, school was exhausting. (I was not expecting my final week of school to be so chaotic..)
Miss Misty: She's most definitely town in my opinion. I can't think of literally anything that would incriminate her, plus she isn't mafia trying to lay low. She voted b100m with me and could've saved b100m, (if b100m:misty pair existed) and that would be incredibly surprising if she thought she could pull through on her own without b100m (plus I doubt misty would be the type to do that anyway).
All of her posts haven't been directly targeting someone without a ton of evidence (as a mafia player would do), and every post genuinely seemed out of best interest for town.
She was also clearly pointing out things that made b100m mafia and added to the evidence.
Shawo: Although some people have their votes leaning toward Shawo, I feel like I have less suspicion for him versus other people.
Yes his opinions are less agreeable with everyone else's, but he keeps pointing out things (etc: how mafia would play with the egg system, elundor stuff). I did notice he's focusing a lot more on the game mechanics and setup for logic rather than interactions between people during the game. Idk if that results to anything, though.
Caffline: Unless this whole cop claim thing is a mess, town, and sadly but probably going to be nk soon :/ For a beginner (this is your second game, right?) you play really well and I would've town read anyway. Are your suspicions and vote on shawo? How do you feel about elundor?
Ghost2008: Town. Even though he hasn't posted many helpful posts or content, I haven't been able to spot out anything that made him different from when he usually plays. I would really like to hear more about what he thinks about the game though. Could you give us a read on everyone and follow your own opinions and questions, Ghost?
woah droqen gave the warning i need to speedrun this stuff rq
BetsySundrop: Town read. I always town read her, and I'm pretty sure everyone does, and she always seems town. But we were mafia partners last time and her behavior seems a little more observant than last time, so I'll give her that. She also seems eager to help town with her ability, and that doesn't seem really fake. I think she would've claimed a fake less powerful ability and layed low if she was mafia. She also has the most posts out of everyone (i think-) I'm excited to hear from her soon to see her opinion on all of this.
Elundor: Probably my vote today. I definetly feel like if someone with more experience was b100m's partner she wouldn't have been voted off so quickly day 1. (thats just more of a side note though, not entirely relating to my suspicion of elundor)
First he pointed out on d1 a shawo sus without reasoning, and when I feel that way about someone I usually don't say much about it. It definetly felt unneccesary and sorta out of the blue, as if to just potentially bring up that option without pushing it and making himself look suspicious.
My suggestion is we go ahead and declare our abilities and weapons now. We should easily be able to sniff out the last one, I would imagine. If this is amenable to all, I can go first. @shawo stated PR (not completely sure what that is... but it was implied that mafia would take them out if they outed themselves?)
I see, that isn't super clear to me maybe it's just because i don't know the game well. I will say this much about my ability - i can target and eliminate players.
But then when he talked about his own was a little more vague and kind of was a little weird about it?
Plus we already had this discussion with Caffline about how if you have a powerful ability how it's important NOT to out yourself. Elundor talking about his power in defense of himself wouldn't be helping anyone but himself to survive. That reads wolf to me.
I agree with most of what shawo said about Elundor, and I doubt that there would be 2 detective-type roles and a town assassin-type rolle. It would be way too much in town's favor.
So I'm going to vote for Elundor and I hope to see others so we can all have a discussion before EoD.
Honestly I could see an if not Elundor then Shawo type deal happening, which I don't know how to feel but I would consider that possiblity.
okay finally let me post before this thread closes

I have Shawo pretty null right now. On one hand, the reaction test had so many potential variables that could have gone so wrong for Shawo - an example being you could have called their bluff and played along knowing that if you flipped cop from a vote, people would assume Shawo was the other salmonid (possibly a rolecop) and immediately hammer them d3 for the town win. Why would the sole remaining salmonid risk it? Because... on the other hand, it'd look awfully suspicious for the 'laser pointer at Caff' d2 then Caff dies n2 and flips cop while Shawo still isn't speaking about their ability and what it actually did. Unless the n2 abilities are wild and crazy, we'd probably still get to sussing Shawo d3. The chaos of the reaction test might have been a ploy to push attention off and create plausible deniability - Caff dies and flips cop without the test, people assume Shawo knew to Splat her specifically. Caff dies and flips cop now, that's just the salmonid knocking out a strong ability that had been outed in thread and gives us no real NKA information. I just don't know how realistic this scenario is.

I'm actually going to go ahead and vote Elundor in spite of this information.
One: I don't actually think the claim holds up under scrutiny. Why does Elundor not want to egg given that there are less mafia in the game.
Two: What's the advantage of having a night kill over some sort of day kill.
Especially number two. What do you mean nightkill/daykill?
I feel a bit lost reading some of it, as in, I'm not catching it all. But I'm finding myself leaning more toward elundor. Maybe it's because of shawos posts, but he makes good points, and while i still sus shawo, i might vote elundor.

If it is shawo, he's a silver tongued devil....cuz before catching up on these posts, I was gonna vote him.

I agree with this and logically it probably isn’t Shawo. I just feel like Shawo has been rather cryptic since d1 - but it’s probably because I’m not used to their style so it feels suspicious.
I'm presuming it's a vigilante role. Which still presents a problem for us mathematically if we eliminate wrong today and Elundor vigs wrong tonight.
Right now we're at 1 salmonid, 6 inklings. With no misvig and a miselim today, we wake up tomorrow with 1 salmonid and 4 inklings. That gives us breathing room to eliminate one more person before f3. Miselim + NK = 1 salmonid, 2 inklings.
A misvig and miselim today though puts us at 1 salmonid and 3 inklings. That puts us into MYLO tomorrow which leads to 1 salmonid and 2 inklings again in f3, but with the town in general getting much less say in the matter.
I have a scope, i target a person and they die, zero negatives for me, personally aside from personal guilt i may have if i choose the wrong player. I'm voting Shawo.
Let's see... you harvested 4 batches of golden eggs this time. Good.
Oh, you all got together and decided to do a little extra cleanup? Looks like you splatted one of your fellowINKLINGS.
All right, get back to the boat. Whoever's still left.
When you deploy this ability during the night, it will target a player of your choice with a laser sight. If you target the same player tomorrow night, they are Splatted. (If something protects them, they remain targeted and you may attempt to Splat them again.)
The ability and its target will be publicly announced, but not who used it.
(e.g. “TARGET has a laser sight pointed at them!”)
~
If you did not collect a golden egg during DAY 2, please submit your action for NIGHT 2 before 6 PM EST, Dec 16.
DAY 3 will begin at 7PM EST on Dec 16, starting with an announcement of everything that happened during the night.
A Mothership. You'll need to organize to bring it down. But don't even THINK about starting a union!
Salmonid Chum wearing propeller helmets swarmed the battlefield from above as the Mothership approached. shawo and BetsySundrop fought off the Salmonid Mothership -- without Elundor's help it was a tough fight, but the rest were busy COLLECTING GOLDEN EGGS. It wasn't easy. Eventually, though, the notification came...
Wave clear!
The horde began to retreat. But as everyone gathered together for a relaxed post-wave afterparty, it became obvious that the horde wasn't just "retreating" -- they had swarmed someone and carried them off into the ocean! (Inklings can't swim, you know?) The usual squidbagging was cut short when the work crew realized who was missing...
(ends Dec 18th, 7:00 PM EST)
The work crew:
1. b100ming - SALMONID
2. @Ghost2008
3. Miss Misty - INKLING
4. @BetsySundrop
5. @shawo
6. shellbell - INKLING
7. @Caffline
8. Elundor - INKLING
9. @tessa.
Mr. Grizz
Tough luck for a bunch of rookies.
Those GOLDEN EGGS aren't gonna COLLECT themselves, though!
Tell ya what, I'll cut you some slack. I only expect three of you to be FULL-TIME on COLLECTING EGGS! Rest of you can sneak around and find that last SALMONID. Once you've done that you can bring all those EGGS back home.
