Splatoon SPLATOON 3

Just placing my random thoughts here (still Splatoon 3 related though of course).

I’ve always mainly played as an inkling even after finishing the Octo Expansion. I’d dabble on being an Octo from time to time but would always go back to being a Squid. For Splatoon 3 I’m seriously considering on maining an Octo this time since we can right from day 1 this time. I still love my Squiddies of course but I think I look forward to a change. Octos will have much improved customization this time too which is great.

I love all the new hairstyles though I might just go with the standard Tentacurl hair if I do go with being an Octo this time as it most closely resembles my own hair. Also as cute as the new super curly hairstyle is I have a feeling it’s going to be insanely popular.

Thanks for reading my pointless rambles. Still not 100% positive if I want to be a Squid or Octo. 😅

I haven't had a chance to play the Splatfest demo, but I can't seem to muster much excitement for what seems like an iterative advancement. I guess it's not easy to come up with a way for the series to move forward in a significant way.
 
3 days before release and I just wanted to remind everyone to watch out for spoilers if you are trying to avoid them. Saw that someone uploaded all of the story mode bosses and someone else putting spoilers right in their youtube thumbnail.

Last day! I’ll be picking up my copy tomorrow evening after work. I really want to change my avatar and signature on here to celebrate but I’m waiting until the fair officially closes first.
 
I haven’t played Splatoon since the first game. I bought it out of peer pressure, I guess, because my friend group at the time started playing it. I enjoyed it for what it was. The splatfests were definitely my favorite part of the game. I’m unsure if it’ll be worth getting since I really only enjoy the splatfests. The competition factor really appeals to me because I normally play sports games. Anyway, I look forward to seeing the Splatoon hype on the forum. It makes me happy to see certain games hyped up, especially with the aesthetic changes.
