Mafia TBT Mafia III: The Murder Before Christmas [Game Over/Town Win]

I've decided to run for elections! ~yay~

As Karla did say, I would particularly like the protection. Having died early on in both games is kind of disheartening, so I'd definitely like to stick around more and do more good for the town. :)

Why vote for me?
Well as stated before, I am quite good at coming up with arguments against people if I am allowed the time. As in last game, I accused Kayla of being the Godfather on Day 1, see post here,, and at the end of the game I turned out to be right. Sadly I gave away my role too easily in that game, which is why here I would like to again really reinforce not roleclaming unless you have complete trust of someone not being Mafia. Again, this includes elected officials.
I would also personally help out anyone who's willing to contact me, via PM or w/e you want. I will gladly give advice, discuss things with you, personal planning etc and help you out as much as I possibly can. Doing this with as many people as possible ensures a solid discussion between Town members, which I think we definitely need after that last game. Bear in mind that the Mafia also have their own chat, so if you see people not discussing as much as you should be, it may be an incentive to think of them discussing their plans in the mafia chat. (but that's a very loose reason, some people just lurk. It's more about constructive, helpful town posts) So I do hope you can vote for me, but more importantly I want you to vote for whoever you think would be best.

As far as other candidates go, I'd like to hear more out of Trundle, he has provided very good points so far and I think he could potentially be a great elected role. I'm not too sure if SP is still running or not, but if he is I'd also like more stuff out of him.

Honestly I'm rather suspicious of why you're nominating him. Why hasn't he come out on his own saying he wants to be elected? I can completely understand why he would want protection from night kills, given he's died early in both games he's played.

Right now, I like the look of Trundle a lot.

Honestly not too sure myself. But I'll take it as initiative to go through with running :) I was thinking about it but I wasn't too sure. But I think I am confident enough now with a little support from someone!

Voting doesn't end until 24 hours. Still plenty of time to decide and not vote for yourself as a placeholder just yet before you decide. Me, I'm currently on the fence with these arguments, no one has won over my vote yet so far... :v

I'm going to vote for VillageDweller. He did make some really good points and was always a target for the Mafia to kill, and that's probably no different now. If he is Mafia, we'll notice because VillageDweller won't be always making these really awesome points and being targeted. I haven't really seen Karla in action and so I don't know how he plays. That's basically why. I don't know his role or side.

I think I'm gonna with Harry. Like he said, he makes really good post and the fact that he will personally help us town members is a good quality for a mayor to have! It'll be nice to be able to talk and get help from a great player.

So, by asking this, you are drawing attention to the fact that you haven't said anything about wanting us to trust you, which is one of the core roles of being elected. You should have the trust of us. We should be able to trust that you will lead us in the right direction.

Right now, you sound like the American politicians of today. It looks like all you want to do is get elected.

In order to vote, you must trust the candidate. So technically, saying "vote for me" is more like "trust me to do these good things". That's basically why we vote. We want to elect someone who will do good things.

I have set out numerous times in my post that the elected roles should not be trusted, and for good reason. Everyone seems to be riding my ass on this when this is an issue that faces every candidate. Apparently putting out a large pro-town post does me no favours, in fact it seems to be working against me right now.

You must believe and trust the candidate you want if you're voting. Otherwise, you couldn't vote since you don't trust any of them.

I've seen him play before and he would be a good choice for mayor because of how VillageDweller can analyze and make confident guesses. I haven't seen you in action, Karla, so I can't say how you do in-game.

You should have seen Karla on Mafia Wednesday then. GREAT player, so I have a different say about her play style.

Oops keep calling Karla a her

Explain to me why you trust villagedweller over me then.

I'd also like to know this, while I appreciate your vote it's not like KarlaKGB isn't a good candidate, he's flipping amazing with his plan and good campaign.

I'd like it if people explained their votes for mayor just as they do with mafia lynch votes. Random votes don't help without an explanation.

o i was writing before you posted sorry, but is there any other reasons or is that it? o: I understand experience is a good thing but that shouldn't be the end all to rule out other candidates.

I already explained. It's on the last page.

One more thing. It will be easy to tell if you are Mafia. Do you hold back on certain people, then lynch the innocent? That's an odd change from your previous play. If you are Mafia, you will be holding back more than you would and not revealing everything.

Without commenting on VD's play, I would just like to point out that the concerns that I may be Mafia are just as applicable to him, and the concerns that he cannot be immediately trusted are also just as applicable to him.

You say you're only voting for him over me because you've seen him play? I urge you to once again read my campaign post, and read my involvement in the previous two games. I may not have been playing, but I was certainly making my thoughts known.

Kippla, with your eighty posts, I'm worried that people are going to have more trouble catching up with everything and every single post just keeps adding on and on.
I'm sorry. I just had a lot of questions for the mayor candidates because I think we can all agree that this is a very crucial part in the game. If we do well and pick a good mayor, the odds might definitely turn in our (the Town's) favor. But I have asked all the questions I need to now, and I'll be lurking for a while. Thanks for expressing this, I got a feeling myself I was posting too much again.
How long was a while? You have also posted a lot, not even close to lurking.
I understand that you want to make the most out of the game but it's seriously only Day One and most of your posts were made during that time. I just think that you're posting a bit much. Although I do agree that this is a very important part of the game.

Another part of your gameplay is how you seem to think differently because you know different things. Just because you've seen VD play and not Karla doesn't mean you have to trust VD more.

I can tell where you are going. You're trying to say that you have also shown your style and I should vote for you. But think about what you are posting. You're constantly challenging it, questioning why I'm not voting for you. I voted for VD because I felt that he would be a good choice for Mayor. Everyone else is, yes, but he's at the top of my list. I gave my reason, so why should I keep answering questions that you don't really need to know?

I think everyone is forgetting how much Karla likes the game Mafia.
He loves this game, he hosted it twice so obviously he knows the game. Saying his responses are too good for him to be a townie is complete bull****.
Why did we elect Justin last game? Regardless of the fact that he was mafia, we elected him because of his game skill level.
I'm sure if Karla is elected, he'll be investigated first so chill out d00dz.

Since a lot of us are newbies to this game we should elect someone who has a good understanding of how the game works.
Honestly, Karla is the best candidate so far.

Everyone needs to start thinking rationally. If someone wants to be mayor/is good at mafia DOESN'T MEAN THEY'RE SCUM.
ok.

I wouldn't mind stepping up as an elected role, as I am a townie, and I do have a little bit of experience with this game. I know it probably won't happen but its worth a shot.

RIVER'S ALSO A GOOD CANDIDATE Y'ALL
tons of experience with the game!
