Same here. I thought it was just me. I tried clearing my cache with no luck.

This is also happening to me with #7. I thought I was doing something wrong but now I'm wondering if this is an issue for everyone?

I had the same issue just now. I just waited and clicked it again and now it’s fine

Seems to be fixed, I was able to claim egg #5 & the community one now shows up in my transaction log.

This unfamiliar sea creature has a lot to say, even where a common error may be encountered. Over a cup of coffee, they express their preference for a natural feel.

Does this ring a bell regarding any animal crossing characters? I'm thinking it's referring to their dialogue when they drink coffee in-game. Doesn't CJ or Pascal have a collectible?

Maybe it's referring to a villager instead of an NPC? It could be about an octopus villager, since it's the only aquatic species in the series. Inkwell is an AC:NL - WA villager, which could explain the 'unfamiliar sea creature' bit maybe. I have no idea where this could lead to, but it's a random idea I had.

I tried searching for threads in the Brewster's Cafe sub-forum about coffee, but I didn't find anything. Even though there's only three pages, I don't know if I wanna go through every thread, aha.

the only thing i’ve thought of for the new community clue so far is that maybe the “cup of coffee” part is referencing to the brewster’s cafe subforum?
