Lol, well I definitely spent more time in this than I had planned to. Last year I did a pastel cloudy egg so I figured I should do a darker galaxy egg this year.

@Chris I have a question about the submission. My egg has a 3D effect going on which is not super visible in static images. Would it be allowed to upload a simple stop motion turnaround / 360° view gif? I am happy to send an example to staff so that you can see what I mean.

So my husband and I already colored eggs for the Spring Equinox, which has passed a couple of weeks ago, so I won't be doing anything super awesome for this event. I would really love to be able to share some photos of the big egg decorating we did with family last night, NOT TO SUBMIT FOR PRIZES because there are a lot and not all 100% handcrafted, but maybe just to get participation points. They were really ridiculous and funny, so I think everyone would like to laugh at them.

I made the owl and sheep (of course, they're green). That blue abomination was made by my step-dad, and we just called it a Biblically-accurate Angel.

Like I said, I'm not looking to have anyone vote for these or to win the contest. I just wanted to participate and share these crazy animal eggs we made last night. Happy Easter and Spring, everyone!

Here’s mine. Everyone’s favourite egg Pokémon Togepi. Its proportions are a bit different as an actual togepi is even more round than a chicken egg but I kinda like it. Also the egg is upside down as the rounder bottom end worked better for the head.

I had such a hard great time making this egg! As you can tell I have very little artistic ability and patience lol, but I'm happy with how the egg turned out! Thank you to the staff for holding this contest, and happy Easter to those who celebrate!
