Mafia The Battle of the Nobles- Endgame

I said at the beginning of the day I want everyone to vote (in the voting thread) and I'll go with majority unless I strongly disagree.

How strongly would you have to disagree in order to go against the majority votes? I don't feel comfortable with whoever has the role you have going against the public opinions and choosing someone that they only think is scum. How do we know you are acting in the best interest for town when you override the majority of votes?

Bianca is making longer posts then she usually does as town. Her introduction post is similar to caxnival where she was scum

Punchy, you?re relying heavily on meta.
Also why would you sus Bianca because of her introductory post tbh? That?s just her first post and she normally says hi and whatever. Her first post doesn?t really tell you much as she just joined and has nothing to expect. She also answered the RQ?s, so I guess there?s really nothing to care about in her first post?
And also, comparing first posts from meta is more of a drag, it wouldn?t really get you anywhere tbh. (Sorry if this sounds rude)
And Bianca making long posts is normal, in one of the dreadful games where I was scum, she was extremely helpful to Town and had good reads and took a lot of responsibility.

How is the length of one's post proof that someone is scummy? Even if you are gonna use this particular meta for backing up your claims, how is that actually scummy? What about the time from that game and this game, couldn't bianca have improved in gameplay therefore the way she plays is different?

Did you possibly have a name change?

@chele

Does Bianca's paragraph pattern really matter if she's scum or not? I mean her post is just meh imo no scummy vibes in my opinion

I bet some kings won't even do a majority vote, from what I remember from Egyptian Kingmaker some people just decided themself. I'm frequently wrong and hate making decisions which is why I'm open to majority (in addition to the reasons I posted before about voting being important for alignment tells), but obviously I want town to win too so if I feel like scum is playing with the bandwagons to reach majority I'm not going to put something through that I think will hurt town.

Jacob read me please

Just read all of your posts. There isn't anything to analyze. All but 4 or 5 of your posts were using META, the other few were defending yourself or getting upset (which was understandable)

Hi I?m awake

Antonio is slightly different than last game let me get on my laptop and make a case

This is 100% town mog, scum mog would be uncomfortable and seem out of it. Check CTSTP

oh hi I'm here

I literally died after school

after rereading a bit mog is literally a townlock for me

mog is not AT ALL acting like scum mog that I remember from CTSTP

mog defending me is definitely towny, mog defo wouldn't do that as scum.

her tone and posting style aren't really alignment indictative, but her content is.

as scum she is quite mild and avoids giving opinions and, like vanessa as scum last game, very little content could be remembered from her.

oh also the last time ness was scum he quit the game after going into a wallpost war with dolby. AtE, possibly.

ok bianca is defo off

she just sporatically posts as town kind of like early 2018 or so me.

in this game she's making larger posts with more content. meta says slightly suspicious

Bianca is making longer posts then she usually does as town. Her introduction post is similar to caxnival where she was scum

Theres are all quotes that rely on how someone has played in previous games. There's no other content to analyze

Punchy you read me

I understand why you guys find it questionable that me and punchy are sussing Bianca solely based on meta, but I swear if you read Caxnival and then read any other game where she's town, she has a different way of talking when she's scum and that's what I'm seeing here. She posts more sporadically when she is town and uses a less formal tone. If I'm wrong I'll eat my hat be disappointed in myself and maybe try to stop relying on meta reads so much (even though that's all I know how to do on D1)

@waffles if you had the hammer rn, who you would you lynch?
Can I state my thoughts about them?

Idk much about Jacob as town but he seems kind of place I kinda feel weirded out he mention something scum is between me, trundle and mog but scumleans all 3. Why would you scumlean someone who just saw someone's post and laufs at it then another person being fragile about their playstyle. Mog is just really genuine and concern about it I'm cool with it pointing out why I'm like this we all have different taste of humor. I do like how trundle pointed out that Jacob is playing passive in RQS part which kind of leave me scummy vibes right there

For Ness I hate how pushy he was to trundle not a fan of meta thing cuz people can just change their style anytime I'm sure some of us know this. Mafia can have a guts to push and took advantage of it.

Lastly Antonio he is kind of out of place too I can't tell if thats a genuine mistake or pretending to make a mistake and they all find him scummy, most esp punchy does that every game to antonio

If I have the ability to lynch it's either Jacob or Ness but I'm leaning towards Jacob more than Ness.

Jacob -> Ness -> Antonio
Red flag -> slight scum

OMGUS - stands for "Oh my God, you suck." Refers to a player suspecting an opponent solely due to that opposing player suspecting or voting for them.

You state that Bianca has a scummy tone rn, but the thing is that her tone seems like she is Town. She is answering questions and isn't keeping to herself much (that's something that scum Bianca would do). Although she mostly says "lynch inactives!", at least she contributes tbh. Also I agree on her part when she said that she's more good on day 2-3, because in one of the games where I was mafia (bleh), Bianca was like the most useful townie, and she didn't really have an informal or formal tone. She stepped up in the game towards the last few days, and we could sorta tell why she's not indulged in conversation right now. We are still at that awkward early game conversation stage in all honesty.
Also if not Bianca, then who'd you want to lynch?

But would you be providing evidence to prove that back up your decision to ignore the majority if scum is playing with the bandwagons? There are 16 people in this game and only 4 mafia aswell. I'm just worried because I don't really know if you actually have the towns best interest in mind. Between 1 to 100, what are the chances of you actually overriding the majority vote and making the decisions for the game.

Also, what date did carnival mafia begin?

Who do you want to Lynch then?

Dude that carnival was like around Feb 2018 ish let it go

Just found it, carnival page was around October 2017. Seems a little farfetched comparing this game to a game from over a year ago.
What if Bianca improved over that time?
