I could be wrong, but I believe after a contest ends completely (not just the first round), then the tickets for that specific contest will be distributed c:I've read the Q&A sections here on tickets several times and I know it says they'll be distributed with the contest period ends...does this mean that they'll be sent when the whole fair is done? Or when a specific contest round ends?
For example, will we receive tickets if a certain round ends or will all prizes for multi-round contests be sent at the end? Say you enter "Tiptoe to the Tunes" and win your session, would you get tickets that week after you're announced the winner, or after all rounds? It says in the Q&A that when a winner is announced you get the tickets and I see several people in that thread have been marked winners but no tickets have been allocated to any users yet. Just curious how that will work!
Are people allowed to trade their prizes? I’ve been seeing quite a few threads about trading collectibles for the plushies or offering to give them to a friend if they win it. Just wondering if that is considered a prohibited transaction or if there are certain exceptions to the rule, and in event i get a trade offer.
In a collectible/prize's description, you can see if it's giftable and/or unique (something like: "giftable: yes" or "giftable: no"). If something is giftable, that means it's allowed to be traded (if it's not giftable, you can't trade it even if you tried to). The people posting about looking to buy the fair collectibles could be doing it for a few reasons. Maybe the deal they make now will be cheaper than when prices for the collectibles settle in the future? Regardless of motivations for the trade, though, if something is giftable, anything is fair game
eeee, my bad for the misunderstanding
Nope! It should be your own work. You are welcome to find an artist to team up with using the Magazine Mash-Up Teammate Finder, though! Can I commish a artist for my magazine cover ?
You get five tickets for playing in one session per week regardless of which game or session it is.I'm confused by how you earn tickets for Switch Stars and Tiptoe Tunes. Do you get 5 tickets if you participate in either one and that's it? Or is it 5 tickets for playing once a week? Or 5 tickets for each one? Or 5 tickets per session played?
Sorry if I'm just being dumb
It's mentioned that tickets will be distributed after event/contests ends, does that include rounds? Or is it overall?
Will we get a heads up when the shop will be open? I assume it will be when TBT Fair concludes to give everyone an equally chance to grab some of the limited collectibles?
Ticket distribution will be done in batches and we'll likely have a couple as more event rounds end. We haven't announced when the first batch will be distributed yet, but there will be advance notice so it's fair for everyone. I'll update the main post to add a bit of clarity to that.I've read the Q&A sections here on tickets several times and I know it says they'll be distributed with the contest period ends...does this mean that they'll be sent when the whole fair is done? I believe the intention here is to not have multiple player characters present. I'll tag @dizzy bone here to confirm if using another character that isn't your main island rep is OK.So I got a perfect shot for the starry snaps contest.. the problem is it's not on my actual island rep character. I somehow didn't internalize the rules were saying to use your island rep which is my bad.
Would it be okay to submit an entry where it isn't my island rep specifically, but another villager I have on my island? I still have a shot with my user name typed out and all that to confirm it's me. The player character in the picture is even called Shep.
I made the mistake of making my official island rep an OC since I didn't realize I could only have one island rep...
There have been a few entries with multiple villagers - that would be fine!Does it have to be only one villager for the starry snaps? I have a cute plaza activity and there are two villagers in there.
Trading collectibles is common, but mail prizes are physically sent and would not allow for trading. Are people allowed to trade their prizes? The actual content of the Haiku itself is what's counted. If we give our haiku a title, will it be used/counted? I understand they're optional, but in one of the two haiku's I'm considering, the title adds to the understanding of it a decent bit, whereas the other works as a standalone haiku.
This is fine as long as those posts weren't made before the event started.Hi, have a question regarding the event. For the events with in game pictures, once we submit the entry photo, are we allowed to also post the photo on other parts of the site? Like the Island journals or screenshot or video capture hub thread?
We currently cannot answer this. We'll need to figure it out when we decide to send out the first round of tickets. To answer your second question, no, there has not been any announcement of ticket distribution so far.1. How far ahead will we get an announcement stating when tickets will be awarded?
2. Has there already been an announcement and if so where can I find it?
We need to be able to see your name card. As long as we can clearly tell that it's the same location and taken at the same time it should be fine. I'll tag in @pandapples here to be sure.I tried taking some cloud picture for the Cozy Photo Challenge #7 and I could not get the name card and cloud to work in both the photo.
To focus on the cloud, the brightness leaves the name card totally black. I am not sure if this is avoidable as my phone is really old. Would there be anything else we could do to make up for the contrast issue?
Please post a thread in CTS with the details. We can update the post for you. What do you do if you absolutely have to edit your entry? In one of my submissions, I realized later that the screenshot I posted was cropped.
I tried doing that, so hopefully it is alright to do! Thank you.We need to be able to see your name card. As long as we can clearly tell that it's the same location and taken at the same time it should be fine. I'll tag in @pandapples here to be sure.

I have a question about this. Yesterday I saw a real awesome cloud and ran to take the photo, but I forgot the namecard. I quickly wrote one and took another photo with it like literally 2 minutes later, but the cloud had already lost the shape and was almost gone. The place clearly is the same and I have the time the pics where taken in my phone, 2 min apart. Would this be ok? Otherwise I need to keep looking out the window heh but I would hate to loose the one I've foundWe need to be able to see your name card.
