You just need to fill in the "NH - Island Name" field on the Account Details page, then it'll show up beside "Island" and link to your Island Journal!

Brewster's Café is for constructive discussion that doesn't fall under the categories of Animal Crossing or other video games. The Basement is basically just a place for forum games, things that can be covered in a few words, are repetitive, a bit more spammy and that don't generate bells for posting. I guess it would depend on what threads you've seen in The Basement that you feel would be more appropriate in Brewster's Café for the Staff to let you know why they're there.
The distinction has always been a bit loose to be honest, and it has shifted over time. Halloqueen is correct that generally if it's something that's short, repetitive, or game-like, it may go in The Basement. We also made some changes a year or two ago that moved a couple threads back to Brewster's that were in the grey area, but with bell restrictions on them.
If there's a particular thread you feel strongly might belong in a different board, you could report it explaining why and we might discuss internally whether we all agree if it's in the right place or not. (sparingly though, please don't abuse this!) Especially if it's a newer thread that we may not have paid as much attention to, whereas older ones are likely more set in stone.

So when will they remove the fields for the 3DS friend code, ACNL dream address, ACPC friend ID, and Nintendo Network ID in the account details page? Since the services that require them are discontinued, I don't think they're necessary now.
I've cleaned up the fields a bit! 3DS friend code, NL dream address, Pocket Camp friend ID, Nintendo Network ID, and Skype have gone poof. We'll leave the NL character/town name fields for legacy.

I have a few questions. I have an art thread but I was thinking of making a new one since that one is cluttered and also since I’ve been mostly drawing digital now. Would it be okay if I made a new art thread?
Also, is double posting okay in an art thread as long as it isn’t spam to bump a thread? If a new thread is allowed, I was going to write an intro and make a table of content. After that, I want to post some of the art that I want to link in the first post. Would it be okay or should i wait a day to post again? I’ve been wondering too about that with my island journals. I haven’t gotten in trouble yet but now that I’m thinking about it, I’m worried it is a problem. I sometimes make a reserve post there to help plan out my journal and not to bump since sometimes I want to add pictures to the second post before I do the first because one is about for example my villager hunting results and the other is about what else that I did on my island.

Yes, Island Journals would be perfect for that.

Double posting in places like the Island Journals or your own art thread is fine as long as you're not doing it solely to bump the thread. If you're adding new content, it's not a problem.
