Is our island representative character actually a human being? We look humanoid but we have questionable anatomy. Let's take a closer look.

We have no idea what our mom or dad looks like. Does dad even exist? There's an alien that tries to contact us at night at 3:33 AM. Dad, is that you?

No way. You see those skeletons displayed in their houses? Those are the real humans. The island rep characters and villagers clearly took them out decades, maybe even centuries ago.

In past games, Dad writes to you on Fathers' Day so he does exist ... He only gets mentioned by Mom in NH, though, which sounds sinister now that I write it :/

Nah, we're the Circle Hand people. Our defining characteristic is that we have circle hands. : D

Our reps do have some unusual attributes and abilities:

-They only require sleep at the very beginning of the game.After that sleep is optional.
-Eating is also optional although when they do eat they can consume foods that are equal in size to their enormous heads.
-They understand the animalese language.
-They apparently communicate through telepathy because the animals seem to acknowledge what they're saying yet I've never seen the mouths of my reps actually move while they're supposedly speaking.
-They can construct items using raw materials simply by hammering and sawing within a mysterious cloud of dust.
-Our reps can summon a change of clothes by waving a magic wand or by twirling in a flash of light.
-They can carry objects,plants and various animal life that are many times their size and weight.

My theory is that our reps are advanced descendants of this species,known as charliebrownious peanutus:

I would say no. We certainly bear some resemblance to humans, but I'd say that we're just a similar species. We don't quite have the right anatomy

Personally never really thought we were humans, the *animals* dont even really acknowledge that. I personally think Im possibly an alien, or another species all together, that looks human, but isnt, like it changed into this form.

Sometimes I don't even think the animals know what you are, since Static says stuff about being a squirrel then realizes im not a squirrel, so I really dont think the animals even know.

So id say your an alien species even to them, that maybe took the foarm of a human?

In a sense the animals are the same, just another kinda creature all together that makes them look like that. I think Game Theory did a whole thing on this

But yeah, I enjoy threads like this ^^ I love hearing about what ever they think the reps are.

I think the Creepy Skeleton could be a better representation of a island representative character's bone shape. What makes it "creepy" I wonder, that's it's not human?

Well i dont know if we are humans for sure, what i do know is that i am sentinel being… or so i think …. And while i never saw her i know i got a mom who must live somewhere very far a way because she never visits she only writes letter.

Mom never talks about dad and he never wrote a letter …. Im stuck in a small island … which now that i think about it, what if im moms test tube experiment and she is watching me from far away to study me ….

So many questions and so little answers ….
