Im sure this post has already been made, but I just want to rant about how I personally hope that they will fix the PWP placement. They should make a grid so you can see where your placing it, and come on Isabelle! I cant put a 1x1 PWP a few spaces away from the town plaza? Another thing I'd like to see is the tree/bush placement. I just found out today that you can't grow bushes and trees together at the same time, only if they're fully grown..
Theres a lot more I could talking about (especially regarding villager movings, im hoping they will make it easier to move villagers out quicker) but I'd like to hear some other ideas.

- Having the Happy Home Designer placement tool from the start or for placing public works projects.
- Having some way of knowing who wants to move as soon as they want to.

Yeah, I'd love to be told when someone wants to move out and not having to ask everybody multiple times.
There was this one villager that told one of my alts that he wanted to move, I encouraged them to move only to see his reaction and it took 2 days until he pinged another alt about moving. Some other villagers warned me about that one wanting to move, but the one villager wanting to move didn't talk to me about it.
Idk, maybe having Isabelle to handle it. If she handles who moves in then she'd also know who wants to move out...Right?

Yesss I agree with this so much. I also wish there wasnt that pressure of not being able to not play your game and having the fear of someone moving out unexpectedly...

Man I didn't even think about using a grid or just being like Happy Home Designer for PWPs. That would be so much more helpful!

Oh yeah!
One thing that I'd love having on Switch. If they add this I'll run off to the store and grab a Switch right now and preorder the game in a heartbeat:
A way to lock a villager and prevent them from moving.
Not all villagers, of course, but only one or two at the time. And you can unlock them and let them back into the moving pool whenever you feel like.

Rocks. If there was any way to pickaxe them away or dig them up or something. Thy have gotten in the way so many times.

I second all of these tbh but I'd also really like the diving mechanic to be more... refined I guess? I'm not sure what exactly I dislike about diving, but it just feels so clunky. Unlike fishing and bug-catching, it isn't something I really enjoy, or ever see myself using once I'm done cataloging all of the sea creatures. Which is a shame, because I feel like swimming could be a lot of fun! Maybe in the switch game, they'll expand on it a bit more! I'd really love to be able to swim in any body of water, rather than just the ocean. Or maybe we could have pool pwps that our villagers could swim in, too. Would also love to be able to wear a cute swim suit rather than a wetsuit, but that's more so just for aesthetic reasons.

I just found out today that you can't grow bushes and trees together at the same time, only if they're fully grown..

Are you sure you didn?t just have the maximum amount of bushes/trees in that acre/connected? Or perhaps too close to the front of a house? I?ve definitely planted azaleas and trees together on the same day.

I second all of these, especially being able to remove rocks (I hate those things <_<) and being able to know when a villager wants to move without being pinged!

Yes to villagers not been able to move. When you log on Isabelle should let you know right away.
Vacation mode would be nice. I play more than one town and have to stop a mover before shutting the town for awhile.
Before save/quit I'd like to tell Isabelle I'll be away for awhile and no one can move.

As long as a tree reaches the 1st stage of growth, you can plant bushes next to it with no issue for the tree or the bushes planted (& bushes also tend to grow better next to trees if you do that approach as well from my experience)! ;)

- The fact that you can have cedar trees only on the upper part of your town. I would really like
to have a town with cedar trees only, so I hope the new game has this option

- Swimming needs a development. Especially the speed, swimming faster would be really nice

- Rocks being removable. I hate it when I find a nice looking town but can't put my house on
the spot I would like to have it just because of a stupid rock that blocks it. I wouldn't mind if
Nook says you can put your house there even if there is a rock, but the rock will appear then
on a different spot in the town. In general, I would even pay for it if I could kinda decide where
the rocks are at the town

- Having a little bit more freedom when it comes to build PWPs. I mean, I get it, I can't build a
PWP on built-up areas, but the fact that you need so much space between two PWPs kinda
sucks, like if I want to build a bench with a street lamp next to it but the street lamp needs
to be this far away from it so that I can build it...Ugh

Agreed on all of this. Especially the last one, as I had the same idea. Ugh, I hate when that happens. It would've looked so nice, too :[ I had to change my plans several times because of this.

Also I'd love to plant cedars wherever I want. I love them.

I'd also really like it if paths can be placed in front of doors in the next game and that items and things like Redd's/Katrina's tent can be placed on them without messing everything up.

Amiibo villagers that don't move out on their own! you basically have to kick them out with another amiibo card and the cycle keeps on going!!

Interesting, because in my case, they can move out like any other villager, they just stay a little longer because they are amiibo villagers

(I can?t tell if what you said actually means what I am interpreting it to be, essentially, I see it as ?they do move out, they just need a little nudge?)

lol hate this too

I can’t tell if you two are being serious or not, but this can’t be fixed by setting times when villagers are allowed in (kinda like when they sleep and ask you not to wake them)

You know what I hate the most?
When villagers give you items and you refuse, but they straight up give you the item anyway, sometimes act smug, trying to trigger you and give the item away to you, taking up space in your pockets.

I hope they remove this bad feature in ac Switch.

Well, when that happens, I go to the shop and sell it for money, so you win either way
