All of tier 5 and 6 have been merged, besides 5 villagers. Bianca, Pecan, Papi, Colton and Nana have all been added into tier 4 - making it a total of 50 rankings. ● This list is used as a guide for cyclers & sellers to determine how easily some villagers can be sold for. ● Do not think that because of this list, all of your villagers must be tier 1-2?s. Pick villagers for your town that you want! ● Tier 1-5 is ordered by popularity / most sought after. Tier 6 is ordered alphabetically.

Ⓠ How much can I sell a villager for? Ⓐ Prices vary, which is why I don't have them posted. To get a basic idea of how much each tier is worth it's best to check for threads with a [Cycling] prefix. Or if you're looking for a specific villager, try searching the forums for said villager with a [Selling] prefix to see what prices they were sold at. One thing to keep in mind is originality. Some people don't mind, while some do so an unoriginal villager most likely would be worth less tbt/igb than an original. Ⓠ How do you determine which villager goes where? Ⓐ For a villager to increase; multiple people looking for them in lurker lists and the Looking For thread, increase in buyouts in auction threads, and ones that are sold quickly. Ⓠ Which villagers have been in Tier 1? Ⓐ Tia, Maple, Stitches, Punchy, Rudy Ⓠ When are updates done? Ⓐ I try my best to do them every Sunday night, sometimes it's delayed to Monday. Ⓠ I think a villager belongs somewhere else, why are they in tier #? Ⓐ I am always open to suggestions/feedback. I will possibly implement your suggestion if you're active on the forums & have links or some kind of logical evidence to back up your opinion.

Alexi, why did you merge Tiers 5 and 6 together again? It was fine having six tiers. Now Tier 5 is way too big again.

Also - the reason I merged 5 and 6 is the same exact reason Hound00med had only 5. He was completely right. There just isnt enough constant popularity among the old tier 5 to be it's own tier. So I added extra into tier 4.

This doesn't mean that I won't ever take villagers out of tier 5. For example, this week Grizzly and Henry did.

But now there's nothing to differentiate either chart. Tier 5 now once again contains more than 200 villagers (about TWO-THIRDS of the game's villagers). That is way too much for one tier in my opinion. I liked having six tiers better.

I really just don't see Fuchsia that much to be increased. Wasn't in the LF thread (except for 1 person), and not many lurker lists have her.
She didn't decrease though, so I guess look at it that way :c

I like that there have been new villagers atop the list the past two updates.

Just me, personally, but I believe there should be fluidity when it comes to the top spot; Of course, some weeks they'll be villagers who continue their sell-out streak and deserve to be atop, but lately it seems like every week there is a new villager who catches fire and outpaces all the other villagers.

But anyways, awesome stuff Alexi! I got used to used to your original 6 tier list (I joined too late to use Houndoom's 5 tier list, extensively, and it'll take some getting used to) but whichever way you see fit!

haha, its okay. I do understand why you don't like it - which is why I proposed the idea a full week ahead of time. I knew going forward with the idea that some wouldn't like it.

It's just my old tier 5 never really changed. I kind of kept my old tier 5 and 6 the same. Now that I have 4 main ones to update, it gives me more time to look at the NEW tier 5 and see potential villagers increasing. I won't ignore/never take villagers out of my new tier 5, don't worry.

Ahhh I added another Q&A in the FAQ since it is asked a lot. Then I didn't like how the tiers were underneath all the rest so I switched it around... not sure how I'm liking it. Might add all the info to the top again, maybe not.

But Tier 5 is as low as you can go now. It's bottom of the barrel again.
