Villager Trading Plaza Feedback

I think we should have separate sections within the plaza for the different species!
And a section for cyclers!!
It would make it look a lot more sophisticated!

It looks like something for every villager would be way too many, however if you divided it by species, it might work.

Well, not really, it would be searchable with the forum search, but that could work too, yeah. It's easier to set up for sure.

I often wished that we could search through users' signatures because that's where people put their dream villagers and that's what gets updated most often.

Add a Buying tag. Lately everyone's been using the Trading one as a substitute "looking for" tag.

Yeah. Please no. The idea I mentioned is a much better solution. Just use species instead of villagers. Some species should definitely be divided to male and female, though. There are LOADS of cats, for example, so they would need two threads (m/f).

Also, the most popular villagers could get their own "popular villagers" thread (with the names in the topic). Just look at what auctions have a load of bidders.

No separation for cyclers again please. A "cycling" tag like a "giveaway" tag sure, but no moving us out of the villager trade forum. I left another popular forum due to how badly the cycling threads were treated and excluded from the trade board. I love this villager trade forum and that cyclers are not only allowed, but welcomed! Please don't mess up a good thing, I have loved it here.

Often it throws me to the looking for thread with that search, but it's impossible to search hundreds of pages to find someone to give "free stuff". So, searchability. That's why.

There's a "Search Thread" option when you're inside the thread that gives you a list of the posts containing what you're looking for inside the thread.

i do think a villager popularity list is needed tho? i know theres one on tumblr floating around but it doesnt have the names of the villagers so its kinda hard to find them.

but popularity is all opinions (i personally believe that julian and ankha and that rhino are way more popular than whitney but whatever)

what are the numbers based on like how did they come up with it?
I don't think a sub forum for popular villagers would make sense because there's still the villagers in the green area that could be considered popular as well. Maybe species tags would help a bit so you can filter which species you're looking for?

Merengue- 30- 50Mil
Stiches 30- 60Mil

Wow guys, I never said to make a sub for popular villagers. You might want to re-read what I said... A looking-for sub with THREADS for every species, some devided in m/f, and a THREAD for the most popular ones so that, for example, the rhino thread doesn't get clogged with Merengue requests.

Also that popularity list doesn't apply to TBT at all. Lololol Julian 3,14, Flora 3,17 etc.

I think it's a demonstration of the data compiled by a "villager desirability poll" that was posted in a bunch of different AC communities, including here. It just had people rate every villager on a scale of 1-5. So the numbers are presumably the mean scores for each villager.

Yeah, it seems to vary by community which villagers are the absolute most popular. Or Ankha's/Julian's/Merengue's scores could have been offset by a bunch of people who scored them really low because they think they're "overrated"
