Villagers 1.4

Let me just start this post off by saying: WHY, POPPY, WHY?!
As you all know, Nibbles just moved out a few days ago, so I figured I would be getting a new villager sometime soon. Turns out "soon" is tomorrow. Now, normally, I would have no problem with that. I mean, sure, they wouldn't be my dreamy, but I'd still have a good time hanging out with them until they decided to pack their bags and get the freak out.
Today, however, I logged on to see a villager named Poppy had decided to set down the plot for her house in the worse possible spot. The plot for her house is literally 10 feet from the local Re-Tail shop in the exact spot where I was going to set a bench down. To make matters even worse, she took out one my trees in the process! D:
Needless to say, I'll be introducing myself to Poppy and then avoiding her like the plague from then on!

I've felt that way before.
On my first town, Cypress, I had received a pear from Isabelle. I planted Isabelle's pear later on; she originally had given me 3 pears, but I had sold one and eaten the other. I loved the tree so much, and I was looking forward to seeing it grow. The next day, Chops moved in right on top of the sapling. I was so devastated and I was wondering why he had to move in right where I'd planted my first tree!
I learned to appreciate gifts while I had them; it is a valuable lesson to learn!
