I have a Mario & Luigi Dream Team 3DS XL, but I switched to a plain black New 3DS XL because it's New.

Mines is the aqua blue one, still as good as new, bought a second hand aqua one when the kids started showing interest, couldn't have them breaking mine, or worse getting into my town

I own the first Pink and white XL 3DS, I was gifted it alongside new leaf years ago. It?s been well loved and has a few wear and tear on it. I?m getting a new cover, stylus, and thumb grip for it soon :3

My first ever 3DS was the new 3DS XL in white (for my birthday in 2015) which I ended up giving to a friend because I wanted to buy the Animal Crossing 2DS XL (in October 2018) and didn't really see the point in keeping both consoles. Thought I would give my white one to someone who I knew would use it and love it.
The Animal Crossing 2DS XL is the only DS I now currently have and I love it. :3 <3

My first 3DS I ever owned was the blue Pokemon X and Y 3DS XL!! I still have it and I used it pretty heavily since 2013. I got a black New 3DS XL second hand last year, because the circle pad was starting to come off on my older model, and the L and R buttons were starting to give out.
In 2018, I bought a used little twin stars 3DS XL that someone was selling on ebay for 70 dollars. It had stickers placed on the inside and although I don't really like stickers on my electronics, even the stickers were so cute that I couldn't pass it up - I had to have it. Plus I think it's very interesting how someone previously loved this and has decorated it. That, in itself, has a charm about it.
I didn't care that it's slightly scratched up on the bottom screen and I don't notice the marks when I'm playing tbh. It makes me so happy! One persons trash is another's treasure.

I had the red/black 3DS XL when it first launched and bought the Galaxy 3DS XL shortly after it launched. Used it all the time to play ACNL, Fantasy Life, & RF4. <3 Never bought the original 3DS.
Used to own an old 3ds xl but that has run its course. It has so many scratches on the back and it’s missing the rubber on the circle pad. Replaced it with a refurbished new 2ds xl and it’s pretty much like new.

i've only ever had my original nintendo 3ds, the aqua kind. it's lasted me this long with proper care! i might pop some stickers on it eventually, but oddly... this is one of the pieces of tech i haven't felt the urge to do that with. go figure.
I have an old Blue/Black 3DS XL, after 1000ish+ hours of use the hinge began to crack (I still have it and it works but I have to be careful when opening and closing it). A couple years ago I got the Galaxy themed "New" 3DS XL. The improvements over the old model were really nice plus the Galaxy pattern looks really good. My main reason for getting it though was due to the crack in my old one.

i bought my first 3ds from a friend (metallic blue), but soon after it broke and I bought the purple version. last year I bought the white and orange 3ds XL and i'm so happy i did! even though it's refurbished, it works like a charm!
My first 3DS was the midnight purple one, as I recall it was a color that was not available at launch and it was so gorgeous it finally prompted me to get a 3ds (was still devoutly using my DS Lite up until that point). The 3DS XL was announced shortly after but I thought it was kind of stupid looking and wasn?t interested in it...... until they made the pink/white one. Even still I might have resisted until they declared the pink/white was limited edition, then I was doomed. Lol. The XL became my primary 3DS from then onward, but I still own the purple one and a couple years ago got myself a white N3DS for christmas. I have 3 cover plates for it, and even though I really didn?t need it I don?t feel bad about buying it because it?s super cute. The 3DS is probably one of my favorite systems overall and despite the many many hours of use I?ve gotten out of mine they?re all in fantastic condition. I?ve been very tempted to get one of those Pikachu 2DS XLs just for collection purposes XP but thankfully so far I haven?t been that crazy haha.
