What Are You Happy About Today?

- Finished work for the day, came home and had chilli w/ rice, then some fresh fruit cheesecake + coffee

- The weather was really lovely today, albeit quite cold this morning

- Slowlyy feel myself getting back into two of my hobbies (travel and reading). I got a bit depressed after my long trip and basically lost interest in a few things, feeling much more like myself again now. I think it was mainly because of burnout and my sudden illness

- My mum went shopping while i was at work, so we've got lots of good food in now

It's been awhile since I've done anything with my hair, so I decided to play around woth styles. Currently have it in a kinda mess braid wrapped around the back of my head. My dad says I look very medieval today.

I think it looks pretty. I'm really happy about it because it feels like I'm coming back to myself. It's also my first time doing a style like that, but I like it~

My dog who has been afraid of going upstairs ever since we did renovations finally made it through all the steps today I'm proud of her!

I accidentally switched the car into park before stopping at a drive thru window. It made a loud thudding 'boom' sound. I was giggling.

The guy giving me my food was also giggling. Either he heard the loud noise or my laughter was contagious.

It was a fun moment.

Today was a nice autumn day, colorful leaves, a little bit of rain and fog, hot moka, pain d'epices, I decorated a house for Stu in Happy Home Paradise. Little ballad in the forest in the afternoon.

I'm happy I finally had a good day today! Now I'm just relaxing at home, and I may play some Zelda later!

today my parents came to visit me! we had lunch and went shopping together my dad also bought us sugarcane drinks which are sooo yummy

Even though work today got a bit crazy with the treat of another hurricane hitting closer then the last one it was still a good day. Got to work with my best friend and was productive.
Excited to have tomorrow off as I don’t usually get Sunday off . I have a family party tomorrow for my cousins sons birthday and a surprise retirement party for my uncle.
So happy that people have liked my drawing and appreciate the kinds words so much.
Made brownies for dessert.

☾ We were finally well enough to celebrate my dad’s birthday! We had to put it off for a bit because we were still sick, but thankfully it went really well and he seemed really happy!

☾ We watched a lot of anime today! Saw an episode of Hunter x Hunter, a few episodes of Delicious in Dungeon, and several episodes of Haikyu!! We also watched our usual Youtube stuff later on, and saw GeminiTay’s new Hermitcraft episode!

☾ I also got to play through and complete the Wonderland Fair event rerun in Fashion Dreamer! They added so many good items… I earned several hundred creative keys from the event and they still went super quickly oof ;u;

It's FINALLY cooled down! My room doesn't feel hot and stiff anymore after I opened my window.

Yesterday I met with an insurance agent about health insurance for my mom and my brother. They recently found out they were no longer qualified for Medicaid, which they've been on for years, so we need to find them something else quickly. The agent seems very nice and was extremely helpful. He also has a son with mental health issues similar to my brother, so I think he'll be patient and kind when it comes to dealing with him.

Today was just a really good day. I slept well last night and got to sleep in so I feel pretty rested. I spent some good quality time with my husband and my dog. This evening, we went out and I picked up some presents for my niece's birthday coming up this week. Then we ate dinner at what is becoming my new favorite pizza place. I've been craving pizza for a couple of weeks now and it was soooo good.

Made plans for Halloween last night! Going to ride a Halloween train and then stay at the hotel The Shining was filmed at. I'm so excited!!

I mostly kept to myself today and played Pokemon Insurgence a ton, which I'm happy about because I made it all the way past the excessive story and to the 8th gym (also caught a Darkrai with my last chance of Ultra Ball, which was based as heck).

I did, however, help move an old piece of furniture out of the house earlier so that it could be replaced, and it's always a nice feeling to help others without expecting anything in return.

Probably going to catch up on some sleep soon as I really need it.

• My tablet arrived yesterday. Along with my new wireless earbuds. I’m thrilled with both! Downloaded all my apps and games. Also I like the case I got for my tablet, it’s nice. The screen protectors arrive later today I’m also gonna get the stylus for it and a bigger memory card soon
• I have a volunteer shift with the rescue kitties today
• Enjoying some coffee and music with my new earbuds right now
• Feeling good, slept well
• I printed a reference pic of a character I’m planning on drawing later (Naruto)
• Got a new audiobook

☾ I'm not sure why it took so long for myself to do this, but I finally gathered a list of clothing items I have. This makes it easier to repurchase them once it becomes necessary. As a minimalist, it's relieving to know I'm purchasing the same item I already have.
☾ I feel happy to be off on Tuesday once again. I was looking forward to watching the first episode of the short series I've been dying to see. I also had early access last night to the intro, and it’s like an anime style opening. This makes me even more excited!
☾ My job got Cherry Coke in stock after being out for a month. I don’t have to pay for it now. I know I could easily drink something else, but the other sodas don’t interest me.

Despite not really getting downto things I wanted to do today, I did finish off that blasted acitvity, as well as also having a lovely bath/bath bomb.shower.

Had a nice sunday roast, so now I am full, a lil sleepy but ready to get some stuff done before sleep!

I went out with my boyfriend today and we watched Look Back in the theater! Really good movie and had fun looking around the mall :]
