It's snowing!!! It's the first snow of the season!!!

After chatting with my vet and the pet insurance company, and sending off his medical records and photos, I managed to get the exclusion on Sebastian's insurance removed. He is now covered for wounds.

Ordered new kitten food that is due to arrive this evening. @Crash gave me some excellent advice on what to look for in picking out something new for them. Let's hope this helps Delta's sensitive stomach - after looking into the ingredients of what I was feeding him it is no wonder he wasn't tolerating it well (yet it is the most widely stocked in supermarkets why).

My partner and I were going to go out tonight, but neither of us can be bothered, so it's going to be takeout food, a movie, and cat cuddles. Can't wait.

This week has continued to be great. I got up early today and went to lunch with my family, and then had a nice, relaxing dinner with them at home afterwards. The Mavs winning against the Knicks was a great highlight for me, but perhaps the best highlight of this week was going outside today and finding out that the mums plant I had planted for my (late) mom is finally blooming. Regardless of anything else, the one thing I'll always be thankful for is her, and for anyone who paves the way forward for others like her. Hope everyone has had a good holiday, or if you don't celebrate, just day in general.

Thanksgivings was fun and chill. Grandmother work hard cooking and baking, and my family work together to helo with other stuff. After that we watched football and Charlie Brown Thanksgiving together before eating.

I've also started Mario & Luigi Brothership so that's been fun.

Tomorrow is Black Friday, so it should be dead at work tomorrow like every year. I might see if I can get some good deals on games and goodies at gamestop after work.

☾ Tried to mostly just get some rest today, and played a lot of Story of Seasons!! it is consuming practically all of my free time I fear ALSO finally figured out how to feed the darn wild rabbit!! I kept throwing rabbit feed at it over the course of several days but noooo it wanted fodder and not the LITERAL FOOD FOR RABBITS. At least I have rabbit food for whenever I get rabbits LOL

☾ My parents and I are caught up with SmallishBeans’ Wild Life series again!!

☾ Had some really lovely vegetable stew tonight and the last of my leftover birthday cake!! I think there’ll be leftover stew for tomorrow so I’m looking forward to that too!

I can’t stop grinning and laughing when I look at this since it really sums up our banter and vibes during Among Us sessions perfectly . My island rep is dressed as Joker and he’s looking for some Breb to go with his curry ! For some reason, I’m always hungry during our Among Us sessions lol.

I just ordered one of my niece’s a pusheen plush and my mom let me order something for myself; I found they had some cat toys (no idea if my cats will like them) so I got those since I need to get my kitties gotcha day/christmas presents still, and a plush for myself.

I caught Jewels laying under the Christmas tree again ; I love her so much.

I had a good dinner tonight. My mom made stuffing, turkey, squash, mashed potatoes and gravy; and also apple pie. She makes the best pie and pie crust .

I thought somehow my colors on my drawing got messed up somehow, but my drawing is fine. Just something to do with the layers I had hidden, I think.

This is kinda silly but I’m happy about the cut and paste option in digital drawing, another thing I can’t do in traditional art if I put something jot quite on the right spot. Having a million layers though made it tricky but it still came in handy.

Last night I finally titled one of my posts in my island journal; not the best title (nor are really any) but I’m feeling better now that I got something down so I could link it in the table of contents . I really want to work on my second island but I’m being good and staying focused on my drawings.

Today (actually, yesterday since it's a midnight post oops) is actually my day off since I switched up my schedule with one of my coworkers, so it's been good vibes! And while I'm here, happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it!

• Work was pretty busy. However, it made me really happy when I got to service a Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk7 for an oil change! After dealing with so many cars for tire swap due to winter season, it was a nice change of pace. And it was fairly quick to work on too, so I wasn't stressing out at all. You could probably tell why it even made me happy in the first place lol.
• After finishing up a long shift at work, I treated myself to a Korean Rice Hot Dog! It was so delicious having a crispy texture on the outside while being stuffed with cheese on the inside.

November 28, 2024

• Because of my work schedule switched up for this week, I'm off from work today! I'm also off tomorrow, so it feels like a long weekend to me.
• I drove to places with my sister and had a car stroll to have a relaxing time. We went to a pet store where we saw furry loaves (cats) and a couple of stores where stationary stuff was being sold! I eventually picked up my mother from work and we were just vibing after getting some food to eat.
• Feel free to skip this point. No new cars to mention, but due to the nature of going on a stroll, I saw the likes of a Toyota GR Supra and two Lamborghini Uruses.
• I created and finished a decal in Inkscape!
• Saving this point for last, there's an online time trial in Gran Turismo 7 that made me really happy. After dozens and dozens of online time trials that have come and gone, the devs of the game finally used a Honda S2000 for the challenge! I just HAD to take my dream car to attempt this. To my pleasant surprise, I somehow managed to reach the gold target time after setting my first valid lap after going off track three times. Usually, I get bronze or silver after one clean lap, so it's almost as if I'm at home driving this car haha. Though, there's ample time for the world record to improve, so I'm gonna hop back in again to set a quicker time eventually!

It's almost been three years when I originally made this AC themed livery back in GT Sport with some few minor additions made since. Heck, I even made a post about it back then of how happy it made me. Reading through it again and the other old posts on that page felt nostalgic. I still remember spending a lot of time carefully crafting it all together. As time went on and Gran Turismo 7 had the option to put custom windshield banners, decals on windows, and install visual modifications, my virtual Honda S2000 became even more pleasant to look at. The one on the left is when I initially created it almost three years ago and the one on the right is where it is today!

For those with a keen eye, I incorporated the event badges here on TBT that I participated in, including the one I just finished in Inkscape! From left to right, we have: 2021 TBTWC, 2024 TBTWC, 2022 TBT Fair, 2024 TBT Fair, 2021 Camp TBT, and 2023 Space Camp TBT! The drawings are pretty simple, but it's hard to tell the nitty gritty of details since the collectibles are so small and pixelated in the first place lol. Unless you got the sticker pack that had one or more of the fair badges which made it easier to see the details.

Lighting isn't the best, but the reminder of seeing these badges while driving in first person gives me memories from those respective events.

- I ate some yummy kebab for dinner.

- I had a nice dinner for Thanksgiving that my mom prepared. My family and I didn't visit any relatives since they're out of town, so we celebrated at home.
- Worked on a sketch and made some progress.
- Watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and loved the balloons.

Today has started off well so far, I'm in a good mood and the sun is shining. I found £25 on the floor AND it's payday for me so I'm feeling rich! I'll be making a roast dinner later with ingredients I have in the fridge, so I'm looking forward to that too.

I'm happy because I have today off work and don't have to go back in until Monday. I'm also all caught up on anime and video games, which hasn't happened in awhile. The sun is out as well and the weather is looking to be great!

★ it's official: I have a place booked in Ontario for the second week of February! I am so so so excited to see my love bun @/Shellzilla_515 again!!

★ I've been feeling good for the last few days, which I'm grateful for since I was sickly for most of November.

★ also, about a week ago I started playing the PAL version of Animal Crossing (GCN) so that I can get back into actively practicing German, and it's going very well! I took four semesters in college and that's been almost 4 years ago now, but thankfully I remember most of what I leaned and I can understand the text in-game pretty well. I mostly need to work on my vocabulary now.

I played yesterday for Thanksgiving, and it was great! I learned a lot of new vocab (Besteck is cutlery, Messer is knife, Gabel is fork, Kirsche is cherry, etc), and I really enjoyed playing this event for the first time in forever hehehe.
