What Are You Happy About Today?

Today I’m happy because I finished a drawing. I’m extremely happy how it turned out. I have time left so I plan on seeing if I can touch up my other drawing.

I got a lot of snuggles from Spanky today . Her little purr is the cutest and most comforting thing ever along with Jewels’s big loud motor purr lol. Jewels has been keeping my feet and legs toast laying on them lol.

Today has been a bit better than the last few days moodwise. Working and finishing the drawing really helped boost it. Probably means I should try making time to draw more. There is just so little time and so much I want to do (also so little energy). I got some ideas for my island journal that I might do once I get further along with my journal and island. Even though I haven’t had time to play or work on my journal, I’m still really excited about it and my ideas.

Last night I checked that proxy site about my orders and one has been shipped (the other was a preorder). I’m confused by something it mentioned I have to do once it is at the warehouse, but I’m relieved that is progressing so I’m not too worried about it. I just have to keep checking the site for my package’s status.

☾ Made a good chunk of progress on some owed art!

☾ Big surprise here ahaha but I played Story of Seasons again today!! I shipped a ton of stuff to try to earn enough money for my first conquest ( I don't even really want the field I just want the reputation points with Eda aaaa), which also allowed me to buy the blueprint for the coop and get my first chicken!

☾ Got to see SolidarityGaming’s latest Wild Life episode with my parents tonight!

- My grandma bought me a caramel sundae and it was delicious <3 I had some leftover cake from yesterday with it.

- I had weekly Discord game night with the guys, we played Gartic Phone and Battletabs!

• We have successfully closed on my new place. I’ll be planning on moving out of my parent’s house in at least two weeks. This means I’ve got to get a head start on packing things!
• I’m also looking forward to building my next PC. I have the parts on hand except the case, which I’m currently waiting for it to arrive so I can start! Maybe the project could wait until I move into my new place? Nah, probably not.

Additional happies for today!

The Dallas STARS! Defeated the Colorado Avalanche 5-3 to snap a two-game losing streak and retain possession of the third spot in the NHL Central Division. Also, I forgot to mention this in my last post, but I exercised yesterday and felt really good afterwards. I plan on getting back into exercising regularly outside of martial arts from here on out.

Some more that I’m happy about:

I played some more Genshin and I had a lot of fun playing it. I saw that Neuvillette’s friendship was maxed and was able to get his namecard .

I started the archon quest; I found the bit before coming to Natlan really interesting.

While I had a feeling Caribert’s name would come up again, I was really surprised with his appearance not to mention what he was like.

I was able to capture some alpacas and other new creatures; I didn’t think it’d let me capture the alpacas. Too bad creatures take up so much load in the teapot (unless they changed it while I was away) .

Jewels has a couple times started playing with Spanky to steal her spot on my bed . As always, she got Spanky to leave. Very rude of her, but so cute at the same time lol. They were so cute playing together. This morning though, Spanky snuck up on Jewels and tapped her before running off hoping Jewels would run after her and Jewels just sat there like she usually does when Spanky tries to initiate play time with her .

• I fell asleep fast while listening to a bedtime story on the Calm app
• I’m gonna be painting with my friend today over video chat. We met online many years ago like maybe 10 years ago and have been good friends ever since
• I started watching another anime on Netflix called My Happy Marriage and am enjoying it so far
• I’ve gotten back into a good routine with practicing violin

• I have been feeling very under the weather lately.. my BPD has been acting up terribly and I'm not really sure why. My bf came to see me for a 'talk' (which I was very nervous and scared about because I've been really unstable towards him lately).. but I had nothing to be nervous about at all.. He was very understanding and we talked things out. Then,, he took me to get some snacks and drinks and even bought me a Hello Kitty plushie. I was really happy about that. I love the Hello Kitty plushie so much.. T^T He even rubbed it on him so it smelled like him.. AUGHH!!! That was probably the highlight of my day.
• Speaking of my bf, we're matching pfps on Discord now < 3 I'm so happy I was able to get us Padoru icons of our favorite Genshin characters!!! ><
• I was able to get Monster Hunter: World on sale >:3 Even though I've been told it's a hard game.. I liked what I played of Rise, so maybe it won't be too bad.. ? ;w; If it is hard.. my bf can just carry me in the game hehe..
• I've been playing Stardew Valley a LOT lately. Alex... my beloved. I've had about 40 hours of playtime in the last two weeks lmao.. I have a bad habit of playing it way too much, getting burnt out; then not touching it for a year. Rinse and repeat. It's such a cozy fun game! The update is so good too :3 There's so much I want to do in my new save file. Maybe I'll stream it one day again xD
• I start my new job soon! I can't wait to start making monayyyy I love money! I'm also gonna save what I make to visit my bestie for an awesome epic Disney trip HEHEHEHEHEHEH!!! So excited :3

I met up with my childhood friends whom I hadn't seen in over six months. I also had a quick dinner at my parents place and there randomly ran into my aunt who was visiting from another city. Plus I drove the car alone, something I have been afraid of for a long time!

I watched the movie Dances with Wolves with my family today. It was okay, but it was good because it everyone was in a bad mood but we all calmed down when we started the movie, so we're all good now

Got through a really tough day at work (7am start + we were extremely busy ), so I'm happy I got home, had a bath, made some food, and rewarded myself w/ coffee and cake

Happy I have tomorrow off, and I recently found out that my official last shift is on 23rd December, meaning I have Christmas Eve off!

First day of December is tomorrow, I can open my advent calendar

I am happy that it is finally the weekend for me and I am going to do some fun holiday things tonight and tomorrow night. I also drove today and I'm getting better at driving! It's been awhile since I have driven so I am trying to get used to it again.

Went to a café I'd never been to before along with some family and tried a drink I'd never had before. It was good! I'll have to swing by there occasionally from now on.

Also, found and bought a neat penguin-shaped mug at the antique store that I mentioned I found back in October.

☾ Got to see an episode of Hunter x Hunter and Demon Slayer with my parents this morning!

☾ I played Story of Seasons for a good long while today, and saw Eda’s first event!! I won my first conquest against her and Unlocked Cabin Country too, so I shouldn’t be too far off from meeting the requirements for her second event either.

☾ I had fun playing Among Us this evening!! I am still coughing unfortunately, but thankfully it didn’t mess with me too much while I was playing! ;v;

• I went on a car stroll yet again with my sister. One of the highlights for me is that we saw a skunk in a parking lot at one point. I then started joking around with her saying that it's Kicks trying to sell us socks and shoes. In reality, it was just chilling in place being a loaf lol. Of course, I kept my distance from it to not get sprayed by its stinkiness!
• Feel free to skip this point. Spotted a few interesting cars again which were the Ford Focus RS, and Porsche spaceship Taycan. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Triumph Spitfire as well!
• I ended up going to Ikea again with my mother and sister. I always enjoyed the food there and the best part was that they had a deal where you can buy a dish of Swedish meatballs and get another at half price. We definitely took advantage of that and made us full!
• Listened to a bunch of music!
• Made a little progress of my drawing for Secret Santa.

November 30, 2024

• Work was surprisingly not that busy, so it was a nice breather.
• Had to buy a few things from the grocery store on the way home. I also bought a present for my sister which she won't see until the holidays hehehe.
• I played Among Us tonight organized by @/Dunquixote! I saw familiar faces as per usual playing with @/.: Meri :., @/BetsySundrop, and @/Yoshi155, but it was a pleasant surprise to see @/Halloqueen and @/Saylor again! Haven't seen those two in quite a long while.
• I have yet again made more progress in my drawing for Secret Santa!

☾ I found a great deal on this Los Angeles Kings raschel blanket online and purchased it.
☾ I’m happy that the Kings won their game tonight, and that the Vegas Golden Knights are currently losing 4-0 to the Utah hockey team. This will help the Kings in taking first place in the division.
☾ I’m happy that I had a good dinner at a local restaurant, and some kind person paid the bill.

There has been a lot of stuff bothering me for a awhile but I still had a decent day.

My mom and dad had to go back to close to where we used to live for something, so the house was quiet all day today. They brought back Chinese food from one of my favorite restaurants . They got me sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and egg rolls. I had white rice too but he gave it all to my brother in law accidentally just as he forgot to give him his sauce. Still I was happy with what I got; I missed the food so much.

I had so much fun playing Among Us today! I’m glad more people were able to make it to the session. I hope one of these days my switch can handle it ; hide and seek is so hard on the tablet.

I worked on my second island a little today and went island hopping after I bought another house plot from Tom. I invited Blaire ; I love squirrel villagers . She has such a cute design. I worked on my island journal too; I didn’t get tbt from my posts though and I keep getting weird errors when I try to go to edit my posts. I got a campsite villager today; I was happy that I could update the picture with the campsite villagers that I’ve had. It wasn’t anyone that I was interested in though; I was honestly happy about that since I need to earn the pictures of the villagers that I have still before I think about moving any of them out.

I was excited to see I qualified to get the new red coin collectible and I was happy that a friend won inky . I really enjoyed doing these friendlies even without the bells and rewards but I really think adding these were such a cool and fun idea . Makes me wonder if for the Among Us friendlies, if one of the Among Us mushrooms will be turned into a collectible as a raffle prize.

Last night I saw I had made some minor mistakes on one of my drawings, but I was able to fix them. Good thing I look back at my drawings.
