My day off from work was fairly good.
- The snow finally came! Actually, it already did a few days ago, but it made me happy regardless since I love the snow!
Except when it melts and turns into ice. Slippery surfaces and I don't go well together.
- I got to catch up on some sleep thanks to being off from work today.
- @/Yanrima~ finally finished the drawing I commissioned a few days ago and it looks so, so adorable!
I'm getting closer to completing my winter aesthetic!
Yes, it's Pag-asa all ready for winter looking joyful as always.

- I cleaned the house and helped move some furniture around with my father and eventually my mother. Glad to get that out of the way since we're getting closer to wrapping up 2024!
- I also ate some fries and biscuit from Popeyes as a snack that my mother bought.
- Feel free to skip this point. Since online for PlayStation is free this weekend, I did some online races in Gran Turismo 7! I only did this particular daily race where you have a handful of pre-tuned cars to choose from. A couple of them are the meta (best strategy) to winning races, but I didn't resort to that. Instead, I used two cars I had the most fun with.
First place was already long gone, but second place was still up for grabs. Driving in a 1992 Ferrari F40, I was going up against this 2010 Lexus LFA which is one of the two meta cars for this daily race (the other being the 2007 BMW M3). I don't know how it happened since I usually make last corner screw ups regardless of what racing game I play, but I somehow got a great exit on the last corner while my rival got a poor run. They probably got my curse oops. I was slowly, but surely overtaking them up to the line!
The gap between us was .034 seconds!
I want to give huge props to Leadfoot for keeping things fair and clean. They could've easily squeezed me up against the wall to get a cheap second place, but I'm glad they didn't. Sometimes, a fair race is more fun than getting a win.
Here's another screenshot of my second place finish. Oh, and did I mention that the Ferrari F40 is one of the many cars that @/xSuperMario64x and I saw at the auto show back in February? To this day, it's still amazing how we actually got to see one in person.

This time around, I went for the trusty 1992 Honda NSX Type R. It took me some races, but I was able to snatch a victory on the final lap on the second last corner! I channeled my inner Daniel Ricciardo and it miraculously worked after my rival kept the door wide open. And yes, I still think about NSX I first saw back in June lol.
Over half the lobby was either driving the LFA or the M3. Considering that I'm at a 'disadvantage', I'm glad that I was able to lift the NSX to the top! My adrenaline was pretty high all while the race stayed clean and fair. Even got congratulated by one other person too.
