- Had a pretty decent shift at work yesterday, and bought myself a chocolate tart as a treat

- Up super early bc I'm setting off on my trip today! Leaving it to the last minute to pack lmao

I beat an Advanced Level bot on chess.com without using any hints.

It came down to a king/queen checkmate...however, it's improvement which is what matters. I wouldn't have been able to do this before.

This morning I was going to write about what was bothering me, but more better things esulated than bad.
I had a great shift, it was busy and it was just me and that's fine. I can actually get things done without the boss being there. It was all mainly coffees anyways which I can do.

Found out the shop I used to work has 'closed for refurbishments' for the whole of December, pretty sus but not having to deal with them properly is better than nothing.

Been watching Our flag means death, and got to one scene that just cures me from any sorrow, it is so funny; hits me so good.

Found out there's actually gonna be a YA pixiehollow book coming out next year, about the queen from the Tinkerbell movies. Seems super exciting, and makes me wanna watch the other ones I haven't watched yet.

Been playing a Pokemon Crystal Nuzlocke in my spare time, and its been really interesting so far! Few bumps in the road (Screw that Miltank), but getting to try out other Pokemon has been fun.

Excited for dinner, mainly cause I'm hungry hah.

Last present for my mum came today for her Birthday, just need to wrap them up, and get one more thing for my friend and her mum before I bag em all up for her.
The last present being an etch e sketch and despite being a while since i used it, I knew how to use and erase the lines and redo (testing it works), so that was enlightening.

Happy today because my room is clean and I'm almost off work. I also finished all my gachas for the day as well. Loved on my kitty for a bit and gave her a treat, she's really mellowed out as she's become older. Tonight the Dallas Mavericks face the #1 seed OKC Thunder, going for their 8th win in a row. Whether they win or lose, it should be a good game! Since I've no plans for the rest of the day and it's cold outside, I'm going to bundle up and play some more Pokemon Conquest while watching part 4 of Pokemon Horizons. Hope everyone has a great day!

Today could have been much better mood wise but overall, it wasn’t too bad.

I went to the doctor and I don’t have an ear infection. Hopefully my jaw starts feeling better soon.

We stopped by the pet store on way home and I got to visit the cat they had there; she was so friendly and adorable. I was just telling my mom how sad I was she didn’t get adopted yet and one of the workers said someone just put in a form for her. I’m really happy for the kitty . I might post a picture later.

I’m happy that I went out since I got to go to the pet store that usually has a cat there and the kitten was so cute! She had pretty orange markings and she was a tabby. I had no idea we could visit the cats even if we aren’t adopting the cat. I got my kitties presents too! They didn’t have the banana phone (it’s a banana with catnip) though; I did find something by the same brand though. Hopefully Jewels will like it just as much as she loves her old banana phones. They’re banana phones because on cat twitter, the cat accounts like to pretend we’re calling each other . I got them a new crinkly looking tent (it is shaped like a bumble bee and is really cute; Idk if Jewels will fit in it ). I saw a sushi crinkly mat too. I am pretty sure they’ll like it since they like the crinkly pizza mat that they have . I love food themed cat toys. The sushi mat will go well with their sushi house . We got them other stuff too and my mom got them other stuff for them that she hadn’t shown me. They have to wait until Christmas though!

One of my Neko Atsume packages in already here; I checked a few days ago and it was a state away. My dad will have it dropped off here or get it at the post office tomorrow since we missed them when they came here and needed it to be signed today

I’m glad to be home and with my girls.

Zhongli came home ; took more that I hoped but I’m happy.

Earlier my mom got me a ham and cheese croissant; it was so delicious! I love how flakey the croissant is. (Forgot to mention this earlier).

I chatted with @Mimi Cheems and another friend of mine ; I’m really looking forward to playing Genshin with them both and am grateful for their patience with me (also just as grateful to @Xara). They all make me laugh and so happy .

In Fate Go, I maxed bond points with one of my favorite characters from the Fate series. I don’t use him now that I have better assassins (still got to level his skills too).

My mom let me get pocket camp complete . I wasn’t going to get it but hearing how much more fun that everyone is having with it, I had to get it too.

Jewels keeps waking up to follow me whenever I leave the room. She is so silly .

I got some more Christmas lights today with really nice messages .

Edit: Got Neuv on my third pull on his banner! I got Keqing in my second pull. I didn’t expect I’d get him after.

☾ I made a lot of progress on the main art piece I’ve been working on! I just need to render a few more things and then put the finishing touches on it, so hopefully I’ll be able to finish it up tomorrow!

☾ Played through a couple more days in Story of Seasons!! I hadn’t played in a few days and was missing it, so I’m glad I got a little time today ;w; I barely fell short of being able to participate in the first Fashion Fiesta but it's okay because I'm putting the cloth I made to Better Use !!

☾ Also checked into Pocket Camp Complete for the Fishing Tourney!! And I’m already like… halfway through the goals. I probably shouldn't have rented the golden fishing rod LOL. rip 30 leaf tokens

I'm back with another happy post!

• I have the day off from work today!
• Speaking of day offs, I watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off for the first time with my sister!
• I cooked Chicken Stir Fry for dinner. It was delicious, along with the fact that my sister and mother liked it too!
• I want to give a huge thank you to @/Suguri (I understood that Parappa the Rapper 2 reference!), @/Alolan_Apples, @/Roxxy, @/Midoriya, @/xSuperMario64x, @/Dunquixote and @/Yoshi155 for the Christmas lights! Your messages are so sweet and I'm going to save them to a document like a few others since the lights are only temporary. Speaking of which, I do have some Christmas lights messages saved from last year and it still feels heartwarming to read them.
• Over the past few days I've been playing the free demo of My First Gran Turismo and completed it today! It's mainly aimed at newcomers giving them a taster of Gran Turismo 7. Despite not being the target audience, I still genuinely had fun playing through the short demo achieving gold on licence tests amongst a few other things. Another fun thing is that @/xSuperMario64x also downloaded the demo, so we got to compare each other's times! However, he was getting frustrated on one of them (whoever thought that throwing someone in to drive an old Porsche 911 five tests in is so evil lol), so I don't blame him one bit. I've definitely had my frustrating moments for sure. Anyways, even with the demo, it still benefits me in Gran Turismo 7 since completing the whole thing will gift me a whopping 18 cars! I have this mindset where I have a few duplicates of the same car where I keep one in stock with mileage starting from zero and the other with full modifications (some upgrades are irreversible).

The B licence tests. The cars used for the second and third test are the ones I was very fortunate to see in real life, especially the former!

The A licence tests. The first, second, and fourth tests involves using cars I've spotted with my own eyes! I find it funny how the third test uses a minivan looooool.

One of the licence tests where Bug and I compared each other's times. I know it's only through one corner of the track, but the fact that he's only .013 seconds away from my time is amazing! I really do have to watch my back or else I'm done for.

The IB licence tests. Except for the last one, it made me happy that I saw these cars in person! I'm sure @/LadyDestani would love the Corvette even though it's pretty tricky to drive hehehe.

A screenshot of 100% completion. All cars you see here are the ones I got for free in Gran Turismo 7. For those curious, out of 18 of them, nine are the ones I spotted in real life... Including two that I was able to do oil changes on them!

It’s been a busy few days but good days.
It was so much fun playing hide and seek on Sunday. We went to a Christmas show at my Aunt and Uncle’s church on Sunday evening since he was going to be singing in it. It was a a lot of fun.
Yesterday and today we got some decorating done. We were able to get most of the Christmas decorating and shopping done. I have fun decorating the house for Christmas. Just need to decorate outside. I also got my mom some things for her Birthday.
Excited to see Wicked tomorrow. My mom
Wants to see it too so I’m taking her for part of her Birthday present and then out to dinner.
Have been playing ACNH in the evening . Having fun decorating it.

Found a paid opportunity to shadow a job role I am interested in, in the new year! Just need to write a cover letter as to why I wanna choose that specific role. Gonna be fun.
There were two I liked, but can only choose one.

Been feeling a lot better mentally, and still having fun playing again.
Just need to get around to my journals and play anima crossing again.

I finished my Secret Santa drawing! I took my time because I wanted to do my best on the drawing. I hope it's good enough and that they like it.

I'm close to finishing a story chapter I've been writing for my penpal for a Christmas gift. Hopefully they like that to. And I started another drawing and hope to finish it before Christmas for a few on here.

Happy today because I found out my year-end bonus amount for work, and it's wayyy more than I was expecting. Now it'll be easy to get everyone and myself gifts for Christmas! I'm also headed to martial arts tonight, which I'm excited about. Most of all, I'm excited for the TBT event that begins tomorrow!
