What Are You Happy About Today?

I'm a little more happy today because of a few things. I've been struggling with myself over the last few years trying to figure out how I wanted to play my games, what kind of character to play as, etc. etc. I think I've got it all set up now, so it's definitely put my mind at ease.

Also, I felt like I rushed through my Pokémon Violet game last time so I could get to the end of the game in order to trade version exclusives, so I decided to reset one more time and go through it more slowly. So I transferred my few Pokémon that I wanted to keep over to a friend's game so I could replay and still complete my Pokédex later. I've now beaten it and are back again doing the Pokédex.

So yeah, I'm definitely happy now.

I'm not happy too much since I'm ~overwhelmed~ with stuff to do irl but I'm managing.
Never mind that. I'm about to go play new leaf and then eat dinner. Idk when I'll go to bed but here's to hoping I'll be able to finish working and go to bed early! :3

Went through all my internet bookmarks, put them in alphabetical order...and deleted a bunch of stuff that I really didn't need to have saved. - I know this might sound small to most, but I have a TON of bookmarks. (Eight main folders, subfolders in those). Literally hundreds of sites saved across the entire spectrum of topics.

Feels great to have them more easily visualized.

Took a couple hours, but worth it.

☾ I found some really great fanart of a couple of my comfort characters—it was so good that at first I wasn't sure if it was official or not! I tried to track down the source, and I think I might've found the account, but it doesn't seem to exist anymore... (´;ω;｀)
☾ I woke up pretty badly this morning and have been feeling a little weird/off all day, but I still did my best anyway, and I got a lot done! ^^ I haven't had the energy for much else today unfortunately, but I'm glad that at the very least I have a long weekend coming up to recuperate, if I'm not feeling better by then.
☾ My parents and I are caught up with the Youtube channels we normally watch, so we decided to start TheOrionSound's Empires SMP series!

Today I'm happy because:

- I didn't let myself get overwhelmed by the multiple things that came up at work today.
- I took walks on both my morning and afternoon breaks.
- I started reading The Dragon Reborn last night and read some more during my lunch break.
- I had a good dinner and a chocolate milkshake for dessert.
- I enjoyed my shower again this evening.
- I'm slowly getting back into my regular self-care routine and I'm feeling better for it.

- Work went well today.

- I played a TON of Genshin Impact and got Alhaitham C6 as well as worked on team talents.

- I did some more laundry.

- The Dallas Stars beat the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 in a shootout to stay atop the NHL western conference!!

- @Foreverfox The Dallas Mavericks BEAT the Utah Jazz 124-111 in Utah WITHOUT Luka Doncic and several other key players!! Josh Green lead the way for them. Now that's what I call teamwork!

i got some really lovely feedback from one of my accounts in work. he went to my manager and she forwarded it on to senior management and they've all been so lovely, my bosses bosses boss even emailed who is very high up and idk i'm just feeling really good, i rarely forward my feedback on to my manager because it feels vain so it's nice they went out their way to contact her about me

• My concert went really well today. it was so fun to play. Everyone says we did well.
• Got chick fil a before heading to my concert as I was in a rush. Fastest chicken sandwich I ever ate but worth it
• The week is almost halfway over
• I listened to some other good music today and started jamming out cause it was so good.

Today I'm happy because:

- Despite another busy day at work, I stayed calm, took my breaks, and only did what I could do.
- The weather is warming up. It wasn't too bad outside today and it's supposed to be almost 70F for the next few days.
- My back had been feeling pretty tense last week, but this week it's easing up again.
- I tried some pomegranate, raspberry & strawberry green tea and it was pretty good.
- I finally got around to watching the latest episode of My Hero Academia today.
- I did some more reading and I'm looking forward to reading some more before bed tonight.
- I have a massage therapy appointment tomorrow.
- Only three more days until my week off!

- Work went well again today.

- Got some more laundry done.

- With Hu Tao and Yelan's banners appearing again in Genshin Impact, I got both of them to C6 and went back to my OG team of Yoimiya, Hu Tao, Yelan, and Kokomi. My Yoimiya and Hu Tao are already triple crowned, and Yelan and Kokomi almost are as well. I'm ready to start shredding through enemies even more than before.

- I just watched LeBron James pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for most points in NBA history! I'm not a Lakers fan by any means, but I am glad that he broke the record. He really did work hard for it and earned it.

☾ I caught up with my ACNH dailies from yesterday and today, and got several new DIYs!
☾ Watched some Youtube videos with my parents this evening—SolidarityGaming's latest video was pretty funny!
☾ I was in pretty desperate need of some retail therapy tbh, so I ordered myself a nice acrylic charm that I found at a good price. ;w; Also found something that was a little out of my current budget that I'll be coming back for later.

• Had a good time at yoga class today
• I'm going to the dentist tomorrow to get a cleaning and exam, just happy that I'm starting to keep up with dental stuff
• Been having fun playing Descent: Legends of the Dark tabletop RPG boardgame
• Will fnish my 30 day beginners photography course, just one lesson left, tomorrow
• Been exercising more
• Enjoying watching season 4 of the Digimon anime
• Oh I almost forgot! I bought an air fryer! I have only used it once so far but the recipes I've seen for it and it's versatality is amazing. It also roasts, dehydrates, and reheats in addition to air frying things. You can even make desserts with it. I have always wanted one, no clue why it took me so long to buy one, I guess I just needed a push. My housing support specialist told me I should definitely try to get one since I'm working on eating more balanced, and I ended up going ahead and buying a Ninja brand one. I tried it out for the first time yesterday. I'm planning on trying out a salmon recipe with it on Saturday.

Daily happies:

Had a pop quiz in biochemistry yesterday, and I think I aced it!

My family has been going through a rough time, so I'm making an effort to check on everyone, and everyone is making an effort to check in on me. I really love and appreciate them.

For the first time in my damn life (okay, maybe since the start of the semester) I've finished my physics homework early! Woo frickin hoo!! Eight pages of pure horror, complete!

My friend showed me the tablet note-taking app she uses (Notability, if anyone's interested) and it's actually amazing. I like it a lot more than GoodNotes, which is what I had been using before, and hated so much I switched back to paper. I love paper the most, but I hate feeling wasteful, so iPad notes it is! I'm weirdly excited to take notes on everything now. And I have a new pack of precise Apple Pencil tips coming in tomorrow, woohoo!

I've been fiddling around in Procreate and when this next wave of exams are over, I'm excited to get back into drawing.

My partner knows I'm going through a tough time, and they're making the time we do spend together really special. I get to look forward to something they're mailing me, and Valentine's Day presents, and birthday presents. I'm spoiled and I love it.

Ordered a soup and sandwich from a place I've never been to before for dinner, and both were absolutely fantastic. The tomato soup? Hearty and full of basil and garlic, as promised. The turkey club? A thing of pure magic.

I'm loving reading all of the island journals, as well as the happy posts on here. Stay safe and warm, y'all!

I'm happy today for a few reasons.

I know this sounds crazy, but I reset my Switch and my Pokémon Violet game one more time. I came to a realization yesterday that the way I was doing stuff was not really me anymore. That was the past me. So today I decided to stay true to myself with who I am today and go with the things I truly like now. So I'm now back to my cute, pink and pretty theme and other stuff I like. I'm much more happy now because of it.

Also, the weather has been very nice lately. The upper 60's, which is nice where I live.

Finally, they just announced in today's Nintendo Direct they are making a new Fantasy Life game! I loved playing that game on the 3ds of what little I did. I'm gonna see later on when they give more info if it's got good character customization like the last one.

Today I'm happy because:

- I finally pushed through and got my most important work task done.
- I left work early and had a good massage therapy session.
- I visited my mom afterwards and got to see her cat plus several ferals that she feeds.
- The weather was so nice and spring-like this afternoon. The sky looked so pretty.
- I satisfied my craving for tacos and had a hot fudge sundae for dinner.
- My new bathmat arrived today and it's perfect. I love the color and it's so soft and plush.
- Yesterday was my nephew's birthday! He loved the gift I picked out and we got pictures of his birthday outing to the museum!

♡ I watched the Nintendo Direct today! I'm super excited about quite a bit of games, but most notably the addition of Game Boy/Game Boy Advance games and Zelda Tears of the Kingdom!!

♡ I played Swordplay Showdown on WSR a couple days ago! It's my favorite sport in the game (heck, maybe even in the series). It only took me an hour to go through all the stages, and an additional 20 minutes to get the 'Untouchable' stamp! (It's the one where you clear the final stage without losing any hearts - Last time it took me literal hours to get that stamp, so I'm glad I was able to get it again relatively quickly, haha.)

♡ It was my grandma's birthday yesterday! My brother and I called her as soon as we got home from school, and she was very happy about it. We went to her house and ate spaghetti for dinner!

♡ I made pasta with broccoli and sausage in cooking class the other day, and it was super delicious!! I would 100% make it again, I brought the recipe with me so I probably will!

♡ Watched some more episodes of South Park. I'm still on season 9, but I only have a few more episodes till the next season!

♡ Played a bit of AC:NH, Tomodachi Life, and Cooking Mama 2: Dinner With Friends!
