what color are your eyes ? what color have you always wanted ?

hazel. theyre mostly green with brown and gold. they used to have a lot more brown in them when i was young but they just keep lightening as i age. whenever i cry they turn a very piercing green and i think thats pretty cool. also with makeup i can really bring out the gold, ive had people tell me i look like a vampire haha

i used to want blue eyes like my mother and brother. they have amazingly gorgeous eyes. i ended up with my dads eyes though and since they were mostly brown as a child most people insisted to me that they were brown. i always appreciated the other colors in my eyes more i guess :( i feel bad about it tbh bc brown eyes are beautiful too. i guess i cant change how i used to feel though.. i remember vividly in pre-K how we had to make our eyes out of colored construction paper, and i picked green bc there was no hazel and i thought that represented me better than the dark brown paper. this lady who was one of the 2 people taking care of the kids wouldnt let me use the green. she kept saying my eyes were brown, and she took away my eye and gave me brown. i remember being so upset and crying bc i didnt want to have brown eyes. i wish i could go back and show myself how brown eyes are also really cool :p oh well. also what the heck lady why were you taking care of toddlers
I can totally relate to this! My eyes are also hazel that were initially considered brown, but got noticeably lighter over time with a light/olive green (my mom's eye color) on the edge around both of my irises. I remember wanting to have hazel as opposed to brown eyes, because I liked the idea of having another color, especially my mom's. Funny she would always tell me they would get lighter and might actually turn green like hers did, but thankfully mine never did; I never wanted fully green eyes, so I like mine the way they are now~

And that's really frustrating what that lady did... Such a crucial time for kids to find and express themselves, too. :/ I would've had the same reaction if that happened to me at that age. My heart goes out to your child self!

While we're on the topic, I often feel a bit torn on New Horizons when changing my character's eye color back to my real eye color, as you can probably imagine, haha... I always go with the brown color though, cuz they look fully brown from afar in real life, so I don't mind it that much.

Blue! To be more specific, they often change between being a royal blue to a grayish blue. I really like them, I wouldn't want my eyes to be any other color!

My eyes are dark brown. I don't hate the color but I've always wanted green eyes because I think they're so pretty. My dad had green eyes so I had a chance, but I ended up with brown like my mom. My husband has green eyes, though, so at least I can admire his.

My eyes are green, but people always say I have blue eyes? And it really annoys me. Because like. No I don't. Look at my eyes, you rude folk.

Anyways, I've always wanted purple eyes. Does wanting a not "real" color count lmao? I used to wear colored contacts but they were a pain and more trouble than they were worth.

My eyes are always red. I must be allergic to this east coast air or something...
OH, you mean the color of the colored part. Well, mine are brown and its not because I'm full of s***
hehe dont worry my eyes are always red as well (not going to state the reason T-T)

I have blue eyes. In my life, I've wanted brown, purple (this was also the stage in my life where I wanted to be called Willow, so I'll let you guess how old I was), green and a different shade of blue. I'm fine with them now.

I have light blue eyes, which to some people they seem gray. Ngl, I've always thought it would be super cool to have heterochromia and have one blue eye and one brown eye 😅😂 I guess it also had to do with my dad having blue eyes and my mom having brown eyes, I just wanted to inherit something from both of them.

Edit: those were my thoughts from when I was a kid and knew nothing about how the world worked lol

Whaaaattt?? Those people are so lucky haha!! I wanna find them and trade with them. Actually that sounds terrifying, nevermind.
But for real, the world needs more eye colors!

Hey uh purple eye fan club gang :D
Also Willow is a great name! Hopefully you don't find this offense but I just named one of my rats Willow. Just seems so serendipitous!

i remember seeing a video of these two very little kids with purple eyes (just looked for it but no luck) according to wikipedia people with very deep blue eyes such as elizabeth taylor can actually appear violet. true violet eyes only occur from albinism. haha i learned something today !! and i totally agree i wish there were more eye colors

My eyes are blue. I guess green would be cool, but eye color is a pretty insignificant thing for me so I don't care. They could be brown or hazel or whatever and I'd be cool with it. Only bothersome aspect with the blue is the heightened light sensitivity.

Basic brown :D

As a kid I've always wanted bright wisteria eyes, kinda like what we can get in New Horizons, those pretty bright purple eyes😍 I still kinda want that but I know it would look quite unnatural.

Is Willow a name every kid thinks about? Because my cousin named her animal crossing character willow her name is not even close to that and I see your comment and it had me thinking.

I feel like Willow is just a classic name that girl wish they were named or in some cases, even name themselves in that part of self discovery as a teen where you want to be someone completely different. Willow. Raven. Melody. I'm sure there's others, but I'm drawing a blank. I wanted black hair and purple eyes or blond hair and green eyes, vacillating somewhere between vampire and hippie.
