What did you cook or bake today?

I made a big batch of nachos today because it's been raining absolute Buckets today and I wanted something nice and warm and filling

I woke up at 5am for whatever reason and decided to bake some tiger bread, after two failed attempts earlier in the week. I think it was to humid our something when it failed.

Dino-jores or alfa-saurs
They’re dinosaur shaped purple sweet potato alfajores filled with dulce de leche.

Today I baked....pinecones. Sounds weird but basically I saw some pinecones on the ground and I wanted to do some crafts with them. So I looked up how you're supposed to clean them. First you put them in white vinegar/water, dry them, and then bake them for about an hour or two to make the pinecones clean and sap-free. Pretty cool, if unusual. And now I can't wait to paint them! :)

I didn't fully cook this but I hope it still counts 🙆🏻‍♀️
My husband and I made a steak and gorgonzola spaghetti-alfredo dish

Pineapple upside down cake because what else do you do with can of pineapple rings and maraschino cherries?

Kinda a lazy day for me and probably technically doesn’t count as cooking completely but....

I tried a pack of kimchi flavored ramen noodles today. They were pretty delicious so I can see why a lot of people buy them. I threw in some spinach, thinly sliced beef, an egg, and some fresh kimchi on top. <3

I made some oat & banana pancakes today and ate them for dinner because the concept of ''breakfast foods'' is fake 🥞 😋

I made a cup of black tea for breakfast with a piece of toast with jelly.....ahehehheh...

I did not cook today but I did spend ALL DAY cooking yesterday... to the point where it just knocked me out and I slept for like 12 hours LOL.

I made apple crumble using a variation on Robert Irvine's recipe (Using only honeycrisp apples, using two types of brown sugar, skipping the vanilla icecream <- :( )

I also made stuffing (aka wet baked croutons) and mashed potatoes.

I also made shrimp skewers, which my brother ate all of lol.

It was a lot.

I made a chicken pot pie with southern-style buttermilk biscuit as the top pie crust. I used White Lily flour to give the biscuit crust the perfect soft interior texture. Well, this was technically made yesterday for Thanksgiving, but I'm still eating the leftovers. lol

I can't cook much. I did make scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast today. The eggs came out great on the new skillet my husband got for me.
