What do you want to learn from the Nintendo Direct?

Hopefully they clarify the whole in-game purchases thing. But I wouldn't be surprised if it refers to NSO, and maybe even amiibo...since those aren't free.

As much as I love Time Traveling, I doubt they will touch on that.

Even though it's a feature of the game, it's not something that's exactly advertised or marketed. Especially as a new player. zYou don't know unless you see online or change the clock. :)

i never thought about the in-game purchases referring to amiibo :0
i’m really daft sometimes lmao

I want to know about Amiibo functionality and whether there’s any way for me to bring my favorites to my town. I also want to know what the deal is with potential in-app purchases, as that entire topic concerns me.

As for daily gameplay, my top priorities are the clock/time travel options, how autosave works, how crafting affects gameplay, ordinances, population limits, and whether the character limit for town names has increased.

I don’t expect to hear about a lot of the things I care about at this time, but hopefully they’ll touch on at least a few of them.

But, amiibo isn't a thing you could purchase in game. That was something separate that you could purchase. Like, in Smash the in game purchases are talking strictly about DLC. Plus side, we will find out in a couple of days!

Exactly.

It's not an in game purchase.

I'm in the same "Purchases" camp as everyone is. Like... What is it?

Also, I want to see how your island can develop. Like, so far, we only saw an island from the first few days/weeks of the game. They did say that the island would change depending on the direction you go towards, development-wise... That is what I want to see.

I totally want to see a semi developed island.
That's something I really, really want. :)

I'd like to know a little more about the early game and have some confirmation that we can move villager tents and stuff.

I'd like to see the new characters. Not so much that they are totally spoiled but seen in game action and maybe given a hint to their purpose. I'd also like to see some new villagers.

I would also like to see a semi-developed island and more gameplay in other seasons.

If there is a shopping district, I would like to see that as well, because that will determine a lot for island planning. I'd count the museum in this as well.

Honestly though, I'm happy we're getting a direct. I'll be pleased no matter what.

Oh yeah! It would be nice to know for sure if we can move around villager tents. And (by extension) if we can only move them when they are in tents. As soon as they build a house, will they be rooted to the spot? That would make sense.

I just want to know the most important thing:Will the cranky villagers still ask if I prefer spaghetti or good ol' mac & cheese?

Other than that,I'd like to know a bit more about the new villagers. They probably won't get a mention but you never know.

Online play, making and sharing patterns/clothing and the shopping district location (if there is one).

Oh, and is the dream suite returning.

Here is my list

I want to know:
  • If the map is bigger than the New Leaf map
  • If all the missing villagers from Animal Crossing (GCN) and Animal Forest e+ are back (like Valise, Betty, Gen, etc.)
  • I want to know what's the purpose of using amiibos
  • Where are the shops located
  • Able Sisters shop with patterns making
  • I want to see these villagers : Olive, Pate, Canberra, Ozzie, Friga
  • Can we trade villagers like we did in New Leaf?
  • What will be our first tasks when we move to the island on March 20, 2020

i would like to know..

o the villager limit per island

o moving tents / houses - can we move them at any time or only while in tents

o shops! will they be on our island, on another island, will shampoodle and kicks return

o will we have 4/5 maps to choose from when starting the game or can we infinitely flip back and forth between maps?

o will the exterior of villager houses be customisable? and to what extent? there are some very cute villagers with some not so cutely shaped houses in new leaf :p

True, but they are used for things in-game...and they require purchasing. Stretching the preconceived definition of "in-game purchases"? Sure. But I still think it's a possibility

1)The amiibo functionality, I really hope I can move in a villager I want through the cards.
2) Giving our islands longer names, I have a name for my island..but it's 9 characters long.
3) How many animal villagers we can have on the island (I think it might still be like 10).

I mean, as others have posted I’d personally like to just got in as blind as possible. Experience everything for myself at my own pace. But, I think Nintendo will be cautious enough to not spoil a crazy amount. Just the basics that will peak our interest.

Maybe in a nutshell what I want to see is the ability to build up a completely deserted island into an established town. (Or at least, for them to confirm that’s what you’ll be able to do only if you want.) Because, from previous trailers the island itself still looks fairly empty. That being said, I think crafting will be given a larger overview so they will cover a lot of details within that.

Personally gonna try not to watch the direct (don?t wanna learn too much before release date) and just read some bullet points afterward :p The #1 thing I want to know is if auto save can be turned off.
