I love finding a relatively inexpensive but moisturizing conditioner
Recently I’ve switched to shampoo and conditioner bars (they’re like bars of soap. Less plastic waste!) which take a little extra time, but I really enjoy them!
i try and use hair products that are more moisturizing and more for curly hair! i have a looser curl pattern naturally and try to do a lot of conditioning treatments and leave in creams/custards to avoid frizz and keep my hair feeling moisturized. i used to straighten and silk press my hair pretty often but it's so damaging unfortunately. i try to put my hair into more protective styles now to kinda give it a break from all the heat
i alternate between moroccanoil hydrating shampoo/conditioner and when i run out i go to the walgreens across the street and get aussie miracle moist/conditioner and when i run out of that i get the moroccanoil again it's a vicious cycle really
The cheap apple, coconut, or strawberry scented Suave stuff. My parents at one point tried to get me on something called Mane and Tail meant for animals, for whatever reason.
I tend to use shampoo and conditioner products that are focused on increasing hair volume. My hair is naturally not very volumetric, but I do like having fluffy hair.
However, I prioritize using shampoo products that fight against dandruff and itchy scalp (the brand Head & Shoulders first come to mind). I find that if I don't use it for weeks or even days, I find my head getting pretty itchy which gets annoying and uncomfortable.
people say that this brand is bad for your hair because it’s cheap drug store shampoo + conditioner but this is probably the best combo i’ve tried. my hair is naturally wavy but i always straighten it but it has solved my dryness issue.
