what's the rarest bug/fish you've caught so far?

I don't know how to judge the rarity, but I caught a tuna and a football fish today. Those look like the biggest, rarest ones I've yet to encounter.

As far as bugs? Probably the Yellow Praying Mantis?

I actually didn't realize you could catch the tarantulas, they always bite me before I get them.

Can you catch the spiders that occasionally hang down from trees? It doesn't seem to let me catch those ones.

the sturgeon is found at all times from jan-mar and then sept-dec at the river mouth, where your river connects to the sea. for me it was more transparent than the other fish that ive caught. the tuna is also found at all times from jan-apr and then nov-dec at the pier, i think that means near the airport dock, maybe a bridge as well. caught one standing at the dock in a nook ticket island. not sure about the coelacanth.

Sturgeon and coel are all day. Sturgeon at river mouth, coel only when it rains.

I just caught a coelacanth a half hour ago! Before that, I'd also caught an oarfish on the first night of play.
I also failed to catch a tarantula last night.

The Barreleye is my rarest, though I have the Coelacanth and Oarfish, too.
