What's Your Favorite Holiday?

Well, it's pretty cold now, cause it's winter. But we never get snow, it only snows in the mountains or in tasmania (far south). It's funny, cause the classic 'white christmas' northern hemisphere culture is still present here, for example, sometimes there are poor guys fully dressed up in santa suits in 40 degree (celsius) heat haha!

I actually always wondered about this. I wondered if Santa in Australia was shown wearing shorts, sunglasses and being shirtless. I guess I was wrong! I feel sorry for the guys having to dress up in the outfit during the heat though!

OT: I guess my favourite holiday is Christmas. I don't really celebrate anything else.

Definitely Christmas. The food is great, the decorations are lovely, and it's nice to spend time with family.

Chanukah, followed by Christmas. My mom is Jewish and my siblings and I were raised to be it to. I know its greedy, but you can't deny free stuff is awesome. My dad was Catholic, so my family goes to celebrate with my cousins every year. It's really fun, and the all-round atmosphere of Christmas is awesome. I love Christmas lights.

I also like Christmas for the break, but I really don't like "Christmas spirit" or anything like that. Hate carols, most movies...some decorations are pretty cool, but it can get a bit over the top.

Halloween. I was going to vote Thanksgiving, and then I remembered my entire family is in an argument so I'm not going anywhere this year which means it's going to suck.

Christmas is always a bummer for me as I really don't get anything because I'm a grown ass man now. New Year's Eve is where it's at though.
