Which animal species would you like to see added to the game?

i’m curious :]! although i doubt they ever will add more species it’s fun to think about!! i’d love for there to be anthropomorphic bug villagers! a cute spider villager would be amazing, but i guess it would be kinda weird considering you can catch bugs in the game lol

I know we have Audie and I like her just fine and all, but she's a wolf, and wolves are just kinda boring from a design perspective. And don't really look anything like foxes.

to answer OP’s question, i’d absolutely love bat, axolotl, gecko and fox villagers! i know we already have axolotl and fox npcs, but i’d love for there to be villagers as well.

but I would love specifically parrots, yeah we have birds and eagles that look kinda similar but I want parrot designs!! also moths, kiwis and platypuses

Anyway, back to non-mammals, I think there should also be a "lizard" villager whose model shape could encompass lizards, newts, and geckos.

I like the aforementioned prospect of bug/spider villagers, but I don't think they would make that attempt.

I'm not sure how they could even do it but I'd love to see snail/slug villagers. They'd be so cute with their little eyestalks and whatnot.

I WOULD'VE mentioned having snake villagers, but how would the devs animate them? I mean they don't have arms or legs. They could animate snake villagers slithering to get places but what about when they hold things? Would they still mumble words when holding items in their mouth? Would the devs make their lives easier by giving them arms, at least?

I don't see snake villagers happening, although we did see the animal crossing design for a snake in that one desert island mini game. I don't think it would work too well, but they could always have them hold told with their tail, like have it kinda curl up to the side and hold it. But then how would they do emotes like clapping? Idk. Also, clothes have sleeves, it just wouldn't work. I'd love it if we got it but I can't see it happening.
