Which villagers do you always encounter when island hopping?

for me it's always Monty, Simon, all the hippo villagers and Zucker (met him three times in fifteen NMTs today and like a bazillion times in total). I can't catch a break! it's not like I particularly mind either of these villagers, I mean I'm sure I'd warm up to them quickly if they ended up moving to my island randomly (although I will admit, I'm a little creeped out by Zucker's design) but... oh man, the disappointment whenever I encounter Bertha two times in a row! and whenever there's a repeat villager several times in a row it's always Bertha, without fail! what the heckity heck

do you have any villagers who seem to haunt you whenever you go island hopping? if so, who?

I *always* encounter octopi on the spiral island, and it's always in the order of Marina, then Octavian (Zucker lives on my island).

I used to always encounter Stu and Coach, but they've just stopped coming around?

Definitely always see the octopi, though!

I always encounter Audie, and Freya. I found them both twice on my last hunt, which is always amusing.

The bulls. Stu, Coach, T-Bone and Vic. I've never seen Rodeo, which is ironic considering he's my favorite

I always seem to encounter Octavian, Sleldon, and Rodeo. Like I'm never going to invite you guys, take a hint >>

Marina. always always Marina, to the point where I eventually gave up and invited her to move to my island during my last bout of villager hunting because she showed up so often when I was looking. never saw any other octopi, only her out of the three.

this always happens to me. I'll meet every single villager of that species except for the very one I'm island hopping for. it genuinely upsets me how often this is the case why must this game bamboozle me so

Most of the lions, Marcel & Klaus. I don't usually find who I'm looking for on the mystery islands, so I try not to have someone specific in mind when I'm villager hunting.

I tend to see Hippos (last time I island hopped, I swear, Bertha STALKED me) and Rhinos a lot. A fair number of Alligators, too. And, for some reason, I went through a period where Clay popped up in my campsite/island hopping a lot. That was extra annoying because, while I appreciate why he looks the way he does, I really don't like how he looks and can't see myself ever wanting him

what is it with Bertha?! I'm starting to think she may have some issues that need to be addressed ah yes, I've met a fair amount of rhinos too during my island hopping escapades!

Any of the villagers who have less than 10 villagers total. I swear, I went on a hunt for Frett and couldn’t find him once! Make things worse is that I found a lot of the villagers that had less than 10 then I could with the ones that have more than 10. I know that the formula of villager hunting goes by a random animal species and a random villager in that species, but I think there’s a percentage in that where villagers that don’t have many units in their bracket appear more often and villagers that have more in their bracket appear less often.

Since I don’t actually like any of the wolves, naturally I find them all frequently, especially Audie. Never invite them though, sorry wolves. I wish I could give this luck away.

And naturally, I find the small species groups villagers (cows, octopus, bulls) very often.

I feel like I used to see Rhonda every time I went island hopping. And to be honest she grew on me quite a bit over time. Have not (yet?) invited her though.

I always seem to run into Naomi multiple times. I think I ran into her at least 10 times on my last long search, even twice in a row at one point. Other than that, Stu, Rodeo and the Octopi are the others I run into a ton.

Most frequent are the octopi, hippos, bulls, cows, koalas, and squirrels.
I also always encounter Marina and Hippeux every single time I island hop.

It seems like I'm always bumping into Al, Bubbles and Marina

Marina. Its because I always have an octopus on my island. Right now I have Cephalobot and before I had Zucker. When I had both Zucker and Octavian, I encountered Marina three tines in a row while island hopping. I didn't know that was possible.

I haven't island hopped in a long while, but I remember seeing elephants, hippos and rhinos more than others. Most notably Tucker, Hornsby and Biff, whom I've all encountered multiple times.
