And Wolfgang isn't even in the Top3 of the Cranky Poll ( https://www.belltreeforums.com/threads/whos-the-ultimate-cranky.541953/ ) so he's not as much as the Ultimate Villager as you think sadly
He did get good votes since he was in the honorable mention part though.

I'm surprised how well Apollo and Fauna have done. It really shows that a simplistic/realistic design can do wonders.

I'm actually really happy with this final group. The only villager I would change is Genji. I would prefer Bam over him. So, overall, good job voters. You did a great job choosing this group.

I'm surprised how well Apollo and Fauna have done. It really shows that a simplistic/realistic design can do wonders.

I feel like for the common player the realistic designs or softer palettes are always more popular. Pastels and Browns rule the typical island. It’s understandable, as the more eccentric designs are obviously going to require more niche taste.

That makes sense. I feel like this is the reason why Julian seemed so popular in New Leaf, and now is not mentioned as much.
