If yes, how would you spend your new 100 years of life?

If no, why not?

I'm poleing for a science question. :)

I want to see how the world changes in that 200 years of life :)

Yeah, sure I'd be cripled, but I can see my grandchildren grow up, my great grandchildren grow up too. I get to see if the world has gotten better or declined.

It does depend to an extent, like would I continue aging at a normal rate or would it slow down, would I still be able to die in an accident, etc, but ultimately, yes! I'd love more time to experience Earth before whatever is next.

Why not? If you get bored with life, you can always kill yourself after 150 years or so.

Yes, death is a horrible thing.

Can I keep my body as it is now

Its however you would perceive it as. In my book that i'm asking this for, the protagonist lives to up to 268 years old in a teenage body, so its however you'd like to think the 200 years would be like.

Yes. I don't mind the idea of living very long if you still have the ability to die, because at least you are still mortal.

Honestly, no. While I'm scared of dying, living for 200 years just doesn't sound appealing

I don't even want to live till I'm 80 with the way the world is

It would be torture to live for 200 years.

I've gotta say no because I would hate seeing everyone I love around me die, and I'm too awkward and would be too scared of watching them also die to bother getting attached to anybody else. I also wouldn't want to continue if I age like a normal human and have my health slowly declining to the point where I wouldn't be able to do much a bit past year 100, but I'm still in my awkward teen years and would hate to stop aging right now. Plus I feel like I would get experimented on if I lived that long and stopped aging at a certain point.

Yeah it would suk. There's a movie about this called Bicentennial Man which dealt with many of these isshues.

Absolutely. I'd spend the time travelling, researching, and working on creative projects. I doubt one lifetime is really enough to do and learn about everything I'd ever like to.

I was gonna say no because life is a sacred thing, and all good things must come to an end :c

I'd like to ask you the same question seeing as you've brought the discussion up.

My response to your question is no. Certainly no. It's bad enough having to live my life as it is now; and that's not a hint or an impression that I hate my life, I'm just dissatisfied right now.

I'll just assume the following rules:
  • Body stays the age it is
  • Cannot die until age of 200 is reached
  • I add 200 years to my current age and that's how it works.

I'd get to do so much ****. Talk about gettin' stuff done!
