Well, with Kermit kinda softing an important role I'm really not in favor of their lynch...

Here's what I had written up regardless. Wasn't on board for their lynch either way, since I kinda already suspected an indicative soft in their earlier posts, didn't want to bring that up though.

panda: is nice i hope she isn?t scum and her posts don?t stick out to me as scum going through her filter
toads: i dont think he?s scum? my impression of scum!toad wouldn?t keep trying to get himself voted as king
bianca: i don?t want to read bianca anymore but her posts this game have a diff vibe from the last game when she was town (like when she got annoyed and got herself lynched)

if i were king i?d just do whoever I think is scum because if I take a majority vote of who to lynch a good portion of that will be influenced by scum so I?d go off whatever I think + people I trust

Here are the only posts pre-current that are content. I don't see malicious intentions. Inactive, yet she did mention she wanted replacement. There is absolutely nothing to go into, but I'm not gonna lynch Kermit with only these points.

It can be reasonably inferred that their replacing in, then wanting out is a bad sign, like Caxnival in a way, but the fact that xCleb and Kermit are of different play skills, imo, it has no correlation to their role. I used the replacement thing to scum read because the whole chain of replaced members were all like amazing. This is where I actually town-read most heavily.

If she's mafia though, I'll be a little annoyed.

Isolation of F11:
- Chose most content filled posts, left out one or two that really didn't much from these.

I just wanna say that I think at this point a lot of people in this game can recognize F11 as a casual player. The one liners and controversial jabs like "Dolby is low-key mafia tho" are all expected posts to me from F11. I don't really remember any games with crys as mafia, so the fact that I can recognize her play style as normal just makes me have the gut town feeling.

I just finished reading this whole thread and I?m back from school now so these are my new, fresh, straight out of my mind: t h o u g h t s. I think heyden or sensai should be merked tbh. Sensai isn?t reminding me of carxival day 1 at all. Heyden I just think is scummy.

I think Tina, Vanessa, and Chick are town. I don?t trust tom at all :eyes:

I do this a lot, so I'm getting a good bias knowing that this kind of post comes from genuine thoughts. What is weird is the post structure, having Sensai and Heyden scum leaned, but then having Tom's suspicion thrown in at the bottom with the town leans. Not sure if that's ever presented itself as a bad sign in other games, so idk

I disagree. I don?t think a Tina lynch would bring any useful information. Tina hasn?t done anything realllly scummy. I think lynhinf Evan or Sensai would be the best because I feel like there are more people for and against that, rather for Tina.

A panda lynch shouldn?t happen either. I noticed that in every game Panda is scumread day 1. I?m also willing to believe tom a little bit.

I disagree with first paragraph, but I agree with second.
Minus the part where she switches up her thoughts on Tom, a little sketch but also submissive which isn't too out of the ordinary. I get really lazy sometimes, or just realize I'm wrong with my initial thoughts.

To reflect on why I don't agree with the first paragraph, looking into it's context doesn't show any scum tactic besides just having a different opinion than me. Tina's lynch probably would've given a lot to look back into, specifically on Trundle or who would've wanted to swayed the vote to make trundle look bad.
Absolute worse case scenario, Crys is mafia and knew someone was doing that on her team, and didn't want anyone looking into it. Unlikely but possible.

I notice that a lot of people?s reads are changing rapidly. I feel like more people are trying to appease dolby than focusing on lynches (imo). I?m playing exactly the same as my last town games but the opinions of these two games are differ by a lot.

I am totally down for even to be lynched. This game he is actually participating, instead of making a whole bunch of jokes. Like, I haven?t even seen like a single gif out of him, which is interesting.

Weird reason to want Evan dead. But since it wasn't a warranted post, I'm willing to believe thats her actual thought process. Still kinda weak though

you seem pretty eager. Imo survivor should be passive and wanting to surivive with no allegiance to any side at all. As survivor I do not deny the fact I would side with mafia. I don?t trust your claim:

- Not really. Still a null/unsure, I put her reluctantly down for yellow tinted, but I guess she would fit a little more green tinted for now. Not down for a F11 lynch.

Hey, your friendly neighborhood survivor here to post his case about ITYW... I felt like ISO-ing him, and now here we are.
So first I looked at his posts from this game obviously, and my consensus was that they are all over the place. Every single post was reacting or focused on a different person, which to me seemed sketchy, like he is trying to avoid actual content. For them though, you need to realize what content is... I know they don't like to do long full reads post, and more of a post-by-the-seat of their pants kinda person.

Aside from that her case on Evan is very weak

I isolate this quote because I feel like the wording of the first part is really strange. They imply that Bianca "knows Evan is innocent," I believe the term is transference to describe the phenomenon of ITYW putting that on her. The only reason its funny looking back is because Evan really was Town.

How about you give us the reason why Trundle and Sej are scum

Why people FoS for no reason at least say something like "I have a gut feeling that person is scum because ..."

Now compare these posts of good content-generating posts from Death by Design, to the ones we have gotten so far in this game.

Anyone can do that and jump on S. S Dooby ship I mean majority of us relying on Dolby's reads and hes like the carry in the game. What bothers me is she townreads Evan def totally weak, I dunno if she tunnels other players aside from dooby I completely forgot around 2 - 3 am cuz I was hella sleepy that time

As a town they are actually more questioning of others... where as here I see more defensive, critical, and jumping to conclusions. Combined with the scattered focus, it all reads like ITYW as scum. So I looked for other games where ITYW was scum, and it led me to FNAF

When ITYW is town their posts feel directive or directed at a person. Like in Death by Design, they question players and spout out random things they think and make stances on people. While the style of their posts/reads are usually sporadic and disorganized in all games, I think if you look at the content of the posts themselves, there is a clear difference and I see posts like ITYW's from FNAF.

I know I'm questionable right now, but I ask that we consider lynching ITYW today

Trundle - Not much has changed since last time
Jacob - I really like what he's doing as a King thus far, and none of his other posts have given me any red flags
Tina - Most of my issues w/ her has been her tone at the beginning of the game, and how defensive she was, but Ive really like her tone for the past long while. Specifically her post with initially being a lil sus of Trundle and going back on it the next post felt very town to me, like she's being open with her thoughts.
VanessaMay18 - Tbh this may be a lil biased, but I can relate to her fear a lot, and I feel like she's really trying to scumhunt what she can. Looking forward to her potential content, hoping she's gained some confidence.
Dolby - Pretty much the same thoughts as last time.
F11 - Nothing stuck to me as particularly scummy? I'm forgetting a lot of what she said though, Imma need to ISO her.

Null:
Heyden - I liked his reads on Waffles in particular, Vanessa too though. I feel like he's been a little bit go-with-the-flowish tbh with his **** and it makes it feel a lil opportunistic, but I think I could just be reading into his playstyle too much
Tae - didn't like the Toads thing, but the explaination was meh so. Tbh I really need to ISO him.
SensaiGallade - I really need to ISO Sensai again too. For some reason all of his posts feel very non-standoutish to me atm.

SR:
These first few guys I all feel like fall under the same catagory of "something's off about them but they're new so maybe it's noobiness that's causing them to be scummy". Description for each is what's off.
ITookYourWaffles - Condescending tone, and most of her **** doesn't seem to relate to the game. Heyden's post on her was good.
Ryumia - Very worried about self-pres, and something about her tone makes me feel really wonky, like each post is calculated. I don't like it. Definitely not in a scum team with Bianca, though.
Biancasbotique - Tunneling way too hard on Ryumia/Trundle, and even admits its not for any reason other than gut.


Other non-noob SRs:
PandaDarling - I can't remember her scumhunting whatsoever, let alone a productive post, and I know her to be a at least decent player so its really making me feel uncomfortable. Sure, she'd get mad over stuff and be emotional like she is now, but at least her posts at content. That being said, I'm a little hesitant because apparently her playstyle changed from what it used to be? If it has, I don't like it :/
KermitTea - I hope Kermit's gonna try to be more active, but I'm not liking her tone and self-pres attitude when she wasn't even the main one on the chopping block. I don't want her as our lynch atm though, I SR Tom more and she said she's important and a mislynch on that would be ****ing tragic. Her post on why she shouldn't be lynched bothers me in particular. I know you said you joined bc you thought you were gonna try to be a nice person but like, saying you're gonna get MK'd doesn't really help anything. Scumhunting does.
Tom - I don't think I need to go ad nauseum even more on why I SR Tom If he flips scum though, I think Sensai is town due to his push on Sensai just a lil bit ago tho. @People who say Tom/Panda aren't on the same scumteam, mind saying why? Everything between them I feel like is super awkward and fabricated.

- He's got 76 posts. Majority of them I have admittedly been skimming. So his scum lean is flimsy, and I think this iso will actually help me a lot in determining my stance on him.

I wouldn?t try reading too much into the replacements thing, its a stupid rabbit hole to go down. In kingmaker, townies are more important than blues in mybook anyways and N e s s strikes me as the type just trying to be a good host and replacing before mking.

I tried looking back and forward a few posts to find the context where this came from, so if I'm misreading this one I apologize.
Otherwise I completely disagree. Wanting to replace out of a game can reveal so much about a person's role and intentions, usually subconsciously. Always worth giving it context and attention.

No point in D1 reads, I would list a majority as null anyways and you guys tend to get super annoyed about it. Gonna wait for some action to happen before I say anything, unless Dolby is seriously considering me for lynch.

I'm against this thought process, as I personally don't like to wait until I'm up for lynch to disclose my thoughts or reads. I also don't find it very motivated in helping find scum.

I have reasons I don?t intend on sharing yet. I suggest for everyone else?s sake we move off Panda.

See above. Always more effective to drop thoughts so we don't have to scramble at EoD in choosing a lynch candidate, rather than waiting. Kind of a shady post...

I don?t have a clear target in mind honestly and I don?t evny your position. If we were to base this entirely off everything so far, I guess it?s possible I would sheep Glow on either Toads or Panda (Toad more likely). I don?t think there?s a compelling enough case to lynch anyone, especially given how D1 has played out and it?s mostly the same 10 people talking. No lynch isn?t an option either, so I?d be more inclined to maybe policy lynch somebody I never read well enough like Jacob or Heyden.

So i guess ranking it all on the table:
1 Toads (ignoring Evan/Tina/Panda)
2 Heyden
3 Jacob

Biggest hangup about this is the consideration of Policy lynch. Tom has had posts before this one explaining that some people's death would reveal more information than others (Unless that was someone else). Hayden and I weren't mentioned as one of those people. I don't care that I was mentioned for policy, but the fact that he wanted to Policy me as one of the most town read people in the game, including Dolby as King, rubs off as an underlying way to get me out of the game. Eh whatever, policy lynches are weird. I was reprimanded for suggesting one against Zendel one game, so I usually assume its sus to bring up now.

Too big to quote. He only scum read one person without slight null. I wanna say thats sus, but I guess it's understandable. He was advocated an Evan lynch more than Sensai which I find a little strange because Sensai was a harder scum lean to him.
EDIT: just saw a post saying "Evan or Sensai" so I guess it was a coin toss between the two for him. Fair enough.

- He's super against claiming, which is interesting. In a game where he isn't really scum reading a lot of people to begin with a claim is slightly helpful. I don't agree with random claims though, sorry Toads... But if it helps shortening the scum pool, strategic claiming or claiming before getting lynched is a toss up more than a dead weight situation.

All rest isn't enough for me to construct thoughts around. A lot of prodding, panda scum reading, and basically the same play as D1, a little more focused though.

I have to say I did find more shady posts than I thought I would. I had Tom as scum lean, and that is where he is staying. There hasn't been a single post where I've been like, woah I agree, and I'm not getting a trusting vibe.

Will consider Tom as a lynch candidate. Keeping it all blunt, I can't beat around the bush, "maybe someone else instead!" for everyone. There's sketchy content here and I'm willing to rid the game of it.

Look out for my reads post where I've got everyone color coded - that's got a bunch of my reasons (the last point is moot though - misunderstood what Tom meant). Additional reasons are his posts more recently, like his "hey guys I'm gonna make Kat paranoid, but guess what? I'm not scum!!" And then most of his posts have very little actual content in them, and I don't feel like he's scumhunting.

So far I think Waffles is the best lynch candidate. Heyden and Toads both made very good posts about her and I think we have more proof against her than anyone else.

I'm interest to see if/how his loyalties shift in the next few days tbh.

It was really clear last night to not shoot if you're Vig, yet you still got attacked and I can only really see Toads having motive to shoot you (you were pretty scumread at the time iirc, don't see why mafia would shoot you). I do agree going after Toads is stupid though, he's actually trying, and he's a bigger threat to the maf minority if indeed SK so, which is likely with kill #3 but Toads gets a pass for today (

A. Because it was literally stated in the thread, along with reasoning of "hey we need to look at the kills D2 they're gonna be important so Vig shooting could mess things up". Also, shooting D1 is really gutsy, especially with most Vigs being 1-shot.
B. Why would you scumhunt as Survivor here.
C. I'd prefer content obviously, but I don't get why you as Survivor would be doing this. Say you scumhunt and you're wrong. Town's gonna think "oh **** he's manipulating the lynch to get us to have lower numbers" and potentially turn on you. On the otherhand, say you scumhunt and you're right. Town isn't going to defend you at night because "welp you're not town numbers". However, you put yourself in danger for scum to ass blast you

A. I shot as vigilante twice on night 1 and succeeded both times in killing mafia
B. I've made my reasons for scum hunting very obvious the past few days
C. In both of those scenarios (especially at this point of the game) neither town or mafia will focus on me... I have opinions that I would like to be heard. I'm also taking this as an opportunity to fine tune my scum hunting skills because they sucked major last game. Its low stakes because half the time people won't listen to me since everyone knows I'm non-hostile TP, or at least semi-believes it rn.
