The how about this: lets say that there is 2 body guards. Sure that would be 2 night lives, but what if the president gains an ability upon being elected? Mafia would have a hard time getting rid of me. that is what I'm trying to say.

Bodyguards can be role blocked.... they are active protective roles because they pick a person to protect. You are insinuating that a bodyguard could protect a person each night and then kill a mafia that targeted the same target (as president they would live though). I understand that, but cast that aside because you said your role isn't roleblockable. There are personal bodyguards though that are linked to another person... if you are a passive bodyguard that always protects one person, that would make sense. It would make sense too that you could claim later and still not reveal who you are linked to. This is really reaching out there though, and i could just be painting too specific of a picture.

And toads...if I'm not mistaken, the bodyguards are directly tied to keeping the president protected. If president is hit, they take the hit for the president.

who said there are actual bodyguards though? I think that just is a metaphor for the president not being able to be killed when they are elected. There isn't a retribution for the mafia to target the president after being elected except that they just lose a kill... am I right ness?

With the way my role ability is phrased, I'm near certain you are incorrect in this assumption. I could be wrong, but if the bodyguards are not real people then I have literally no clue why my role is in the game.

And toads, you CAN die if you are elected. The bodyguards die if they protect you, they won't last forever. And thats not even taking into account that the bodyguards can still be nightkilled/lynched themselves. President isn't unkillable, but I can maybe do something about that?

Not really sure why you're alluding to me coasting this game, its still day 0 and I've posted like 13 times when normally i post maybe twice. As for my reads being anti-town, I haven't even posted any reads, and as for actions, please point them out so were on the same page

Also looking back on this post it sounded a little more rude on my part than I was originally trying to come across as @dad so I'm sorry

but on the other hand I checked back on my post count and it's actually up at like 24 not 13 lol

I think the problem with my play currently is I'm trying to digest what's actually happening, rather than playing on the offensive or defensive, because it's day 0 and I'm having a hard time trusting Dolby for some reason (yes I know this is a dead topic but I feel like I didn't explain broadly enough earlier) because he's legitimately the only person I can think of who can actually get away with fixing someone else's mistake if they were both hostile.

SO I feel like that's all that really needs to be said on that topic

Admittedly I haven't been paying extreme attention to the extra long posts or even begun to apply META to some of the familiar players for me, so thats what I will be doing from this point on.
