Oh and @ Ness: Thanks for all that work with Waffles, I will be lazy and just reflect on that. I agree with some of it and will be interested in seeing if they are capable of contributing. Because that is where I think the wishywashyness is coming from: an incapability to contribute to the game, not in a good way but in a way that shields hesitation with a joking attitude.

If I were something incredibly important like Cop (which I doubt is in this game because masons), then I wouldn't have claimed. I know what I'm doing; I took roleblocking into account before I claimed, and I'm not worried about it at all. Roleblocks do not effect my role's ability. Lets just say that mafia would have a very hard time with me as the president.

I was planning to vote him for president until he claimed blue. I don't like how he's purposely put himself into a position where we have little choice but to vote for him and him saying that he can't claim before the end of D0 without being modkilled is sketchy as hell. This feels very manipulative. He could have just said he didn't want to out his role. But despite this up until that point he was one of my two town leans (the other being Chele) so now I'm torn on him.

Honestly, I agree with you that it looks manipulative. All I can tell you is that you will understand where i'm coming from soon enough. I probably should have just said I didn't want to out myself in complete honesty, that would have been much simpler to explain. However Tina; I feel like you shouldn't let my blue claim get in the way of what you had thought of my previously. This complicates things, but up until that point I was doing my best to be elected without the blue claim. With everyone getting on the "lets elect Dolby train", it made me feel like I had to claim to get people's attention.

I never once said that I was a doctor. All I've stated is that I am blue, Roleblocks do not effect me, and mafia will not have an easy time with me in office.

Personally, I am actually less than fine with Ness as king because his claim in WAY to convienient. Personally, I don't see the view that he's doing this as mafia, but he could be third party doing this

Also, kinda sus Glow/Rune as a potential team. Both are clearly linked with each other right now in my eyes. Though I am going to chalk up Rune's reluctance to having me as President as just different priorities of what he wants in a President and drop that point(though I am still uncomfortable with him riding on Punchy for all of yesterday. Feels like he's using him as a punching bag). I'm really not sure how to take Rune right now, as I think he could just be incapable of conceiving the entire thread at once (which is why he's relied on outdated stuff that's already resolved in suggesting Glow for President, and attacking Punchy at some points)

Tbh, I feel that there are a lot of players that need to post more and a lot that I'm not ok with. The only ones that I really think are not mafia at this point are Tina and Ness(and of course, Punchy as well), with the risk being "eh" to scummy.

One thing I'm not comfortable with is Rune's attack of punchy and how Rune tried to paint me as scum in my first newbie game because of me hardcore suggesting a no lynch, in a newbie game, where I didn't understand the mechanics that well... picking off the low-hanging fruit if you will

But of course, I can't do that. Because I'm doing nothing but tell the truth right now: I cannot claim during Day 0 or I will be modkilled. Clearly your role is not something common, so the fact that people can't get it shouldn't come as a surprise either. I've never heard of anything where you can't claim or be mod killed (although I thought about putting it in one of my games). Also why say "hard time getting rid of me if elected" when you can't die if you are elected. I have an idea of what you are, but it doesn't make sense with your context clues. I'm just lost trying to understand all of this, and I don't think we should be blamed for that. I also harken back to the time you were jester and played literally everyone to get what you wanted day 1, so clearly you have the capability to pull the wool over our eyes.

On the other hand, your emotion in your last post reads true frustration, so I'm tempted to believe it, but there is too much variability with "out-there" roles for any alignment since this is an experimental game.

The how about this: lets say that there is 2 body guards. Sure that would be 2 night lives, but what if the president gains an ability upon being elected? Mafia would have a hard time getting rid of me. that is what I'm trying to say.

And toads, you CAN die if you are elected. The bodyguards die if they protect you, they won't last forever. And thats not even taking into account that the bodyguards can still be nightkilled/lynched themselves. President isn't unkillable, but I can maybe do something about that?
