Glad this thread is back. I recently rewatched the South Park movie. I'd forgotten how good it is. Also I just want to say it's definitely worth getting the Blu-ray version.

My favorite one was the giant costumed guinea pig/peruvian band episode. It is one of the only ones that I really enjoyed, I am not a regular fan of the show.

I will admit, there are occasions where I think they go a little overboard (one instance, involving the intent of euthanizing an animal, kept "Fun Times with Weapons" off my favorites).
Otherwise, South Park is one of those shows which often does push the boundaries as far as they can go; you often just have to take it with a grain of salt and-or an open mind.
For instance, there was one episode which had some references to Asperger's, but it didn't offend me (and I have ASD; original diagnosis was Asperger's). I actually interpreted it that they were making fun of the way some people referred to Asperger's as.

But that's what makes the show good. It's not afraid to push the boundarys, of like what is offensive, and what is isn't. I mean they had an episode with Muhanmed in it.. (Of course it was censored though..lol)

I'm not arguing this. But the only people I've known to be 'offended' by South Park were those the jokes weren't directed at. With the exception of Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina, which I personally wasn't offended by, but many fellow transgender people were and with good reason.

South Park has its moments where they go too far, but for the most part they're making good points. I enjoy the show as it's not offensive for the sake of being so, and it's a good social commentary. Trey and Matt are normally a lot more respectful to minorities than the rest of the media and for that they've my respect.

The Ring. I haven't seen it, but I hear that it has a good point on what Disney has become. If you want to watch an episode about their monopolization, there is one called "Obama Wins", which made fun of both Disney's acquisition of Star Wars and the 2012 election.
