Bulletin Board Now Allows Doodles

So while the Japanese Twitter account tweeted something about Nook Miles, we got a good look at posting on the Bulletin Board. You can now draw on your messages with tools similar to those found in Miiverse and Swap Note.

OK, Nintendo REALLY needs a Dream Suite-type thing in the game now, so I can visit the towns of all the talented artistic people so I can see their doodles on the Bulletin Board. I'd check it in every town just in case!

i just realized i'm gonna need to get a stylus for this, and most likely for pattern making because i assume we'll be able to use touch screen there too. i don't know if the DS stylus would be okay to use with the switch screen..

i'm not artistic at all, but i know people are gonna come up with some creative doodles

No, they don't. DSes and 3DSes have a pressure sensitive touch screen and can use pretty much anything. The Switch's screen is more like a cellphone and has a capacitive touch screen - basically it's looking for an electrical conductor (ie a finger). There are styluses you can use, but you'd have to buy one of the special types that work with phones.

I love drawing board features! It’s fun browsing the inkopolis plaza in Splatoon with a similar feature. Looking forward to drawings by crazy detailed pixel artists... and also memes that say my dad left me at Nook-n-go lol

Don't think I'll make use of this feature... too paranoid to use my Switch in handheld due to my clumsiness. Unless I can use a control, I won't be using this feature at all.

i hope there's like a "dream visiting" thing somehow to visit islands that way too.. i'm sure however we end up visiting people, we'll end up seeing really lovely bulletin board art as well as (stated above by someone) some inappropriate art. LOL. they might give an option to report those things, though would you guys report them or just leave it? i don't think i'd go through the hassle of ruining someone's game LOL, just ignore and exit that part.
