Camp Bell Tree 2023: Closing Ceremony

Wow, ISC!! You guys killed it! Even though our teams were distant and had few interactions (sadface), I could tell you all really bonded with each other, and that's wonderful, definitely what this event is all about
When we were making Space Bets and I saw some of the forum's most event-active members in Crew 3, I knew you guys had a shot for 1st! Unfortunately that was the only thing I was good at predicting for this event LOL.

I hope next go around we either have more chances to interact, fewer teams, or instead is a TBTers vs. The Staff event :3

Our Galaxolotl teamwork was indomitable! Even though we had a fair amount of inactive members preventing us from excelling in other areas, we came together and worked our butts off for each other. Us Galaxolotls got GUTS! For most of us, the gorgeous star fragment is our trophy. I wish the backdrop was permanent because I would rock it forever.

Just know that I saw ALL of you Galaxolotls and I cherish you, whether we talked 100 times or not at all. I know what it's like to be the teammate in the background, but even so, your efforts are recognized and you are wonderful and valued.

I'm so grateful for the time spent with one another, the laughs shared, and the overwhelming support we gave to one another. Please don't be a stranger, I will always be receptive for a chat if you are ever so inclined, and I hope to see you around here. I treasure the memories we made.

It was super fun being a part of this crew and I'm so happy I got to know so many forum members that I'll forever remember as a fellow Galaxolotl! In future forum events, when we won't be in the same team, I will be sad :') but it means I'll meet even more nice people. not as cute as space salamanders but hey.


Also my creativity shall never be restrained for it made me earn a Rainbow Crescent Moon collectible, so I want to thank everyone who was terrified by loved the UFO I witnessed.

Congrats to the ISC for winning it all. But I just wanted to say...

A HUGE super congrats to the Actually, Neverminders for giving ISC a run for their money. I'm not going to lie, but everyone put in an EXTREMELY huge amount of work just to try and catch up, and just the fact it was so close is good enough for me. I am literally so proud of my team.

Also, thank you for voting for my entry in the Personal Preference Kit. I'm not going to lie, but I don't even really remember what I submitted for that. LOL! I appreciate it!

Everyone who participated in Space Camp should feel proud of themselves for working so hard though. I can't recall the last time I've witnessed team comradery in such fashion.

And lastly....

THE BIGGEST CONGRATS TO THE STAFF, for hosting this entire thing! You guys work so insanely hard all the time to provide fun events for us like this. Please do do yourselves a favor and get some rest soon! You have more than earned it.

this is so sweet! even though my winning streak with team events is over, i don't care because this was my favorite team! you were all so sweet and encouraging during adversity and gave me the motivation to keep going after scavenging! this is the most social i've been with a team, and it's because of all you wonderful people! and even though we didn't win, our fragment and backdrop were great consolations and a permanent sign of all our hardwork

and my silly little writing thing made the leaderboard? wow, thanks everyone for that, too!

OK, I must be honest... I've never truly taken part in a TBT summer event despite my years here. I just never had the time, or the attention span (thanks ADHD), to stay active for that long and take part in so many events. But this year was different.

I absolutely had the most fun this summer, especially being part of a team as I sometimes find it difficult to talk to people online! I'm so proud of us for our big win and I feel oddly loyal to the ISC even after the end of the event and the unfortunate obliteration of our former home. I hope next years events (and the next camp the year after) will bring me as much joy, but for now thanks to my team and congrats to all !

Congratulations to ISC for first place! I can't really comment much on your team or the Moon Bunnies as we unfortunately didn't have a lot of chances to interact or participate with each other, but from an outside perspective it looked like you all had a blast!

I really liked the positive energy from my Galaxolotl teammates and I don't think I've ever bonded with my other teams from TBTWC or Camp 2021 like I have this time. I will remember our camaraderie and all of you fondly. I think my post would go on forever if I mentioned each member, but know that I cherished the three weeks we had together as a team. You all are amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better team. I have came in last place with all of the team-based events so far, but I actually bonded so much with each of you that I just didn't mind this time. And we fought hard and won a neat star and wallpaper. I think that is something that is pretty cool and should come back in some form in other events. That way even if a team doesn't get 1st place they still have the chance to win interesting collectibles.

I can't express how much I enjoyed space camp??? The team events were a blast, and I never felt overwhelmed with the missions, which were so creative and well designed this year...a perfect balance of tension and fun! Kudos and a big thank you to staff!!

this was my first ever camp bell tree (i quite literally found out abt the last one the day it ended) and i can't begin to say how FUN it was!! i missed out on the last part of space camp (which was kinda sad because i really wanted to try my hand at lunar logic and making a story while we were in the cargo hold ), but the parts that i did participate in were super fun!! i had so much fun with everyone!!

thanks to the staff for making such a fun event! congrats to the ISC for their super big win!! and ofc, congrats and thank you to my fellow moon bunnies !! you guys are an amazing team! (and thank you to @dizzy bone and @Mistreil for being awesome space captains!!) can't wait for the next camp bell tree, hopefully i'll be able to participate more in that!!

It is three weeks since we boarded The Lopez? It feels like yesterday! It was great fun and congratulations to all teams. As a 'Actually, Nevermind' crew member, our name wasn't space themed, but ... Actually, Nevermind about that. I was delighted to be part of the team as the encouragement from fellow members was amazing! I can understand now why everyone gets so excited at the mention of camp, as I will do to now! Plus, we got new collectibles!!!!!! I love all the space collectibles, but I've always had a soft spot for green aliens so thank you @Mistreil for the little cutie! For next camp or before, can we please, please, please have a collectible of that lovable green jock horse, Buck!
