I installed Pocket Camp to do the event and it's eaten so much data. Right after I started it downloaded another 600MB of whatever. LOL

I have tried to get colored items and can only get a couple.

I did grow some flowers.

I can't get furniture.

Every thing I click on asks me to buy leaf tickets to finish the task or build something.

I do have a few villagers though! ^_^

i think it just involves a little patience! you can unlock most everything in the game without leaf tickets or the subscription or whatever costs in real life money. you might have to craft some stuff or whatnot.

i haven't played the game in a hot minute, but im actually redownloading it right now to participate in the events! my 3ds is lost in my closet right now and i haven't gone looking for it yet so that's why im downloading pc haha but i'm not exactly sure how it works nowadays with money and all that; i'm pretty sure the majority of it can be obtained without purchasing anything, it just involves patience

You can do it! Don't rush it. The game is actually really nice and generous with giving out free leaf tickets so you really don't need to spend a dime on the game especially if you only need certain items. The only thing about the game is it takes patience and time since you need to build the furniture.

Only suggestion is to try your best to not mind the leaf tickets. They usually prompt to ask if you want to use your leaf tickets to build faster, but it's not required Also try to do as many villager requests as you can since those help you level a lot and they give you materials you need to build and such Good luck!

I have heaps of bells yet you can't buy furniture! You can only buy it with leaf tickets, and they want real money!

I'll figure out how to get more. I noticed the goals!

i mean, i guess if you don't like it you can just uninstall and that's that, but it really can be a fun game without all that much work. there's a crafting element that makes it so that you don't have to spend leaf tickets to make things; and yes, somethings require bits of time to craft and that makes it more rewarding imo but idk

it's all up to you what you wanna do about it because the game isn't gonna have major changes before the event ends haha

You just started the game, you can't expect to have everything off the bat. Once you play the game more, level up, do a lot of requests, you'll start unlocking a ton of items. You can also look online to see what you can unlock and such. You have a full week to get 4 items of each color. If you are patience enough and play through the game then it really isn't hard I remember during the Halloween event I left my ACNL game at my parent's house so I had to do the same as you here and download PC to participate. The game is really generous, a little time consuming but it's really doable. You're only one day in, give it some time and try not to stress over it. You have a week to finish it.

I can't find any red, green or yellow items to craft.

I guess I'll unlock furniture?

Events are meant to be fun. If you’re not having fun reconsider.
When the fun stops, stop- some gambling website you may have an addiction

I'm sorry, I really am supportive of most people. But posting incessantly about how much you hate the event because of these same reasons and pocket camp and what not, is just really taking away from the event overall. I would advise you to step away from the forum for like a full 24 hours... breathe, and then come back.

Either play pocket camp and work on the event without making those who try to help you feel uncomfortable, or just accept this all for what it is. You are doing no favors to yourself or others by continuing to go around in circles and outright talking so negatively. I understand its a frustrating situation to be in with not having the game and medical problems on top, I really do, but nothing is going to change by acting the way you are. There has been far too much negativity over something that is just meant to be an added little extra fun event to the forum.
