Dogs, but granted I never had a cat. I could see the perks of a cat. I have tiny dogs and they can be pretty needy at times. But I love their needy-ness ♥ Dogs are super sweet. Or at least mine are lol. They just want to cuddle and nap on you while you do whatever. And the little quiet whines and head nuzzling, ah! my heartstrings!
My dogs are nappers and furniture climbers for sure. But they are 12 pounds and under. My biggest one loves to nap in windows.
I prefer cats and like the idea of owning one in the future more. We used to be visited by our neighbours cats and they were very sweet! I'm not opposed to dogs, though, in fact I would love to have one alongside a cat when I can eventually get pets. I suppose it depends on circumstance (and what pets are up for adoption at the time), but overall yeah I prefer cats but both are cool.
I’ve grown up with cats and always had two at a time. I just love their sassy personality and how one minute they can be giving you all the love in the world and the next they can pretend like you don’t exist.
I love and have had both! They can both be incredibly sweet companions. Cats are a lot more independent than dogs are, but if you want to teach your pet to do tricks... teaching a cat is probably going to take a lot more work. (Though I have seen it done.)
I love both. I used to prefer dogs because my grandma had some nasty cat that attacked me when I was a toddler (I probably deserved it) and I was scared of them since, but some feral brought kittens under the porch and I got used to them little by little and found them funny. Now I like them, mine asked for a lot of attention though, they always want to play or cuddle. I used to have one who liked fetching the ball.
I love both, but cats are better, mainly cause they aren't as tedious to manage (tedious for me, probably not dog lovers) like you have to walk them every day, constantly give them baths, groom them, etc. I also have very bad knees, so I wouldn't be able to give my dog the exercise they need. So I like cats, I have 4 of them, they groom themselves, you only need to bathe them if truly necessary and you don't have to walk them, but you can and you don't have to for a long time.
I vote dogs! I just have one.
I have a dog and she’s always here at my side, which is something I didn’t know I needed. She’s very cuddly, and always seeking me out.
My friend is a cat person... and she has sooooo many. Maybe around 8 indoor ones, and a bunch outdoor ones that just showed up. Anyways when I go to her house, her cats don’t really seem all that caring. They kind of just ignore me, and her. I don’t see them ever coming over to sit by her, or seeking attention. If I try to play with them, their nails are like knives.
The smell of cat pee and poo is also the worst thing ever. It leaves the whole house smelling. Dogs normally go do their business outside.
I’ve fostered baby kittens before and it’s the cutest thing ever, still not as cute or friendly as puppies though.
I prefer Dogs because I think they're much cuter, but I've never had a Cat so I can't say I don't like them~ I think Cats are cute too, but I'm not sure if I would prefer them or not haha ^^'
Both of them are cure though C:
I have three cats and adore them. We wanted to get a dog at first though, but somehow we ended up choosing cats.
I would never say no to getting a dog though!! <3
I think none is better than the other tbh its more about personal preference! I prefer cats because they are easier to maintain (no walks, no need to cut hair or get washed at the vet) they are smaller than most dogs, easy to have in small appartments and a shallow reason: i find them 1000 times prettier than dogs... I like absolutelt every kind of cats, even the hairless ones that people make fun of. Now dogs... Arent for me! Nothing against them though, i just dont like how they get their saliva everywhere and i find them dirtier than cats tbh and aesthetically, i dont like many dogs u.u
