im more of a cat person but growing up I visited my cousin a lot and her dog was so much fun to play with so I chose both 🥺 her dog was named noodles lol but they gave him away 😔

They're both great pets, but I'm a dog person 100%. It's weird because my personality best suits cats, being introverted and standoffish, but ever since I was a kid I always wanted a dog. I found the cats my parents used to own both hated me.

My dog's a very good boy and I like to think he keeps me active and gets me outside more! I'm not opposed to having a cat in the future though, they're really cute, funny, and don't require so much energy.

I've always had cats growing up, mainly because I'm allergic to some dogs. However I do want an English Bulldog someday.

I love both but I’m really allergic to cats so I’m going with dogs here o:

Cats seem easier to keep as pets than dogs, but I like the high energy of dogs sometimes! Plus they’re both so cute 🥺 They’re both great pets but I don’t have to take allergy medicine 24/7 with one of them haha

Definitely cats. They have all the characters that are appealing to me, and they are excellent companions.
The essential decisive huge plus that I never ever have to pickup after them, on a street in a rainy day/cold dark night lol.

both! Depends on what type of person you are or your situation

If I was living in a small condo or an apartment it'd be more suitable for me to own a cat since I won't have enough space for a dog. Cats also work out if you don't have the time and resources for a dog which need more attention and care.

But personally, if I had the means I'd get both.

Of course both!
They are so cute 100%!
They can be the protectors of our life when it's "nighttime"
They can make you happy when you're sad
They are here for us when we have a problem

So that's why it's both!!!

well, depends on your daily life, if you are a person who always needs to work or something, have a cat, because they are more independent, but if you are a person who always plays with the animal and gives the necessary attention, you could have both.

Both, I don't think there has been a time in my life where the house hasn't had at least one cat and from the age of about 6 I've always had at least one dog too. Currently I have 3 cats and 2 dogs and they're all very different to each other but I love them all equally, I couldn't choose one over the other, both animals are lovely in their own unique ways.

I love both but I’m definitely more of a cat person! I grew up around cats and used to help my nana raise kittens from the farm she worked on 😊 I can’t wait to have a cat of my own again ❤️

I said both because it depends on what type of pet you are looking for! Personally I like dogs a lot because they are more expressive and easier to communicate with. Plus every dog has its own unique personality so you can choose if you want a high or low energy dog, etc. (similar to cats I'm sure). My family has three dogs, and while I love them all, I do have a favorite. She's the most relaxed one of our group but still gets excited to play and go on walks and stuff. She's very obedient and low maintenance (unlike our other two dogs who act like stereotypical crazy puppies that get into trouble constantly), and she loves to hang out and just chill with me on my bed.

Both. I have a dog and he's the light of my life. He's small and has the energy of a puppy despite being 5.
However, I love cats as well. I can relate to them a lot (dogs too). I volunteer at a cat shelter and I love taking care of the cats and making them feel loved.

Cats all the way!

I grew up in a family of dog people. We had many many dogs all through out my childhood. It made me really think pets sucked. It wasn't until I was older until I got to experience some quality cat time and oh my gosh they are so wonderful. 🥺 I like how they are cuddly but not so clingy, so much less hyperactive, and don't require walks. I thought I was not a pet person but really I'm just not a dog person.

I don't currently have a cat of my own (used to live with a roommate's cat) but when I move to a bigger apartment I really want to get one.

dogs are the best pet to have 💕
mainly because u can't keep pandas as pets haha

cats are actually terrifying, everyone i know that owns or owned a cat, has been attacked by it at some point whereas dogs are lit, super cute and won't attack u 💖
unless ur dog is the bichon frise my mum owns, she is horrible 👀

Oh this is so tricky because I really do love them both so much. 🥺 💕

I think that if I had to choose which pet is the best for me though then I'd probably choose a cat. I absolutely adore dogs and think they're such sweet, goofy animals who deserve all the love in the world! But they also tend to be more high energy and definitely a pet that I prefer to visit instead of own. I like how my kitties have more of a calm energy to them and they like to laze around. We do still play! But they aren't always ready to play the same way dogs are, if that makes sense. I don't have to watch my words or body language as much as I do with dogs (heaven forbid I said the word Walk around the dog we had growing up! He'd get so excited thinking he was going for a walk every time) and I dunno. Cats and I just seem to get along better, lol. They respect my need for space sometimes and I respect their need for space, it's nice. 🥰

I typically prefer cats but that’s mostly because all the dogs my family has had have annoyed me more than anything. With always barking and freaking out at everything. My opinion might be different if I were to live with a calm well behaved dog.

In all seriousness though neither. I think Guinea Pigs are better than both. :p
