Shh! Quietly step inside - you wouldn't want to wake anyone. It's time to enjoy the childlike wonders of staying up late with friends using hushed voices, playing videogames, and sneaking midnight snacks. There's also one other thing this slumber party is not complete without: a chance to spoil yourself with an out of this world Animal Crossing themed make-up look!
How To Participate
Make-up, like Animal Crossing, holds endless possibilities for creativity and self-expression. Gather inspiration from one of your favorite Animal Crossing characters to create and share your cosmetic canvas through ONE of two ways:
- Directly on your IRL face (not your in-game character!)
- Using the line art below to draw the concept of your make-up look
In addition to your make-up photo, please detail the inspiration for your look in a short paragraph of 3-5 sentences and post your completed entry in this thread. If your post is marked as 'Accepted,' that means it has been accepted. Submissions should not be edited unless the host requests an update.
Rules and Requirements
- Use only ONE of the above sharing methods - the one you are most comfortable with
- There will be no preference given during voting for either method
- Looks should have a connection to Animal Crossing (e.g.: specific villager, special character)
- Entries may be hand or digitally drawn using the line art above or you may use your IRL face as the canvas and take a photo of your completed look
- If taking a photo, it should be clear and unedited. Please be mindful of the light and area when taking your photo
- Please include 3-5 sentences describing your inspiration for your look
- Artistry must be your own work - no submitting others' work as your own or using third-party fonts, art renders, or in-game assets
- Your submission must include your TBT username. This can be written on your entry or held up on a separate note card
- There is one entry per individual. No collaborations or submitting multiple looks
- Only one photo or concept drawing may be submitted
- Entries are not to be edited once submitted.
- A reasonable amount of effort should be put into your submission. Submissions that do not include inspiration descriptions, or looks that appear rushed and/or submitted jokingly will not be accepted
- Keep content suitable for a PG-13 audience
The deadline for entries is September 11, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. fair time (EST). Entries submitted after this time will not be accepted even if the thread is unlocked. Staff will then vote internally and announce staff favorites.
Prizes
- All accepted entries will receive 10 participation tickets
- Staff favorites will receive four bonus tickets and the Animated Shooting Star Collectible
