This makeup is inspired by Stitches! I used blue and green eye shadow on each eye like how Stitches’ ears, arms and legs are one blue one green. Also used purple lipstick to match the purple on his head, and orange blush cause Sticthes is mostly orange. ☺

i went for a goth sort of look complete with spider facepaint to represent one of my favorite NPC's! i tried to incorporate his horns too, although idk if you can tell that's what they are red eyeliner, purple eyeshadow & black lipstick seemed like a good way to represent his colors without giving straight up giving the lineart red skin. and of course the studded choker, as you can't have an edgy look without some type of choker.

This makeup design was inspired by Gwen the penguin villager. The lips are meant to resemble a beak. The eyelids mirror Gwen's eyelids. And the skin / hair are meant to resemble the rest of Gwen's body.

I'm going to be honest, I don't even know half the names for the various makeup items that people use, let alone how to actually use them. 'Twas still fun to do though.

 

[Kuroh]

Based on Étoile, the normal sheep villager, whose name and design represent stars Specifically, she is based on Sanrio's Little Twin Stars. Sanrio reminds me of childlike themes, so her makeup is done in a playful way! It includes inspiration of Van Gogh's Starry Night to add to the star theme and has doodles for a fun touch! 🖍

Obviously, I had to do my look inspired by my favorite pop-punk princess, Tabby! Played with some watercolors, paint pens and fine tip markers for this, and it was actually really fun! Too bad I am absolutely incompetent at makeup in real life because... I don’t hate this look. [edit: fixed typo]

for the mouth, I went with some ‘day of the dead’ makeup style inspiration as well.

I was inspired by Celeste and Julia. Their color pallets contain some of my favorite colors, and like Celeste I’m obsessed with the heavenly skies. This application depicts Julia’s interpretation of Celeste’s passion and making it her own.

My entry is inspired by Sherb, one of my new favourite villagers added to New Horizons. The yellow and grey highlights represent his ears and horns, while the rest of the hair correspond to his blue tuft. The clouds present in the makeup are in regards to his loves of sleep, and at times may have his head in the clouds. The lipstick is the same shade of pink as his button nose, the popping pink cheeks refer to his blushing cheeks, and overall blue makeup references his blue fur. Going for that colour palette~

I ended up choosing Rodney, because he reminds me of my best pal irl. I also love his pink and blue colour scheme, I think he's a totally underrated villager and probably doesn't deserve all the hate. I tried to make the front part of the hair look pink to match his small mop of hair, and the rest blue to match his fur. I also added in the freckles he has and did my best to make it look like there's some bags under the eyes just like he has.

Ah, there are so many amazing entries!

Here is my entry! I've decided to use colouring pencils for this event.

My entry is inspired by Poppy, one of my favourite villagers. I figured she would be perfect for the upcoming fall season! Since she has a normal personality, I decided to draw a more natural looking make-up. Her hair is inspired by her autumn-themed room; more specifically, I wanted to portray the autumn leaves fiery colours. Despite having black eyes, I decided on green eyes, as green is her favourite colour. Finally, I drew some little stud earrings to illustrate her deeper red and green ears (even though this might not count!).

Coloring was inspired by Judy! I love her character design, colors, and eyes! She reminds me of a cute galaxy so I put blue eye shadow and made her hair split between bluish pink. Added some cute blush too! :>

a look inspired by fashionista fuschia! i love her bright color palette so i think she'd go well with neon colors and she has pink hair with light blonde accents as bangs to represent fuchsia’s real hair. she also wears the halo accessory to match the dreamy theme of the event. i think fuschia would be a chaotic supermodel so that's what the look is going for. bright brows, & explosions of color. since fuschia is an uchi she's not afraid to live her best life and do whatever she wants, including wearing eccentric colors and covering herself in makeup <3

 

[Luxen]

Here's my entry: Jacques-based makeup.
Seeing as he's one of my fave villagers, I just had to go with him for this event!
The makeup's pretty much based around his design; here's a breakdown for each section:

• The orange part of his hair is a highlight instead of a haircut with his body color covering most of it.
• Eyebrows and eyelashes also use the color from his orange hair.
• His green bags/eyelids are the eye shadow, meanwhile his eye color are contacts.
• The yellow from his beaks is used as lipstick to fit that bird look.
• His goatee is either temporary tattoos or drawn with makeup to look like face markings instead.
• Added some pink blush to complement the entire look.

I decided to do willow! I thought her color scheme, yellow and purple, fits the slumber party theme well. Stars are commonly associated with yellow and purple can be used for the night sky. She's also one of my favorite villagers. I don't know how to use photoshop well, so I tried my best

I designed rosie by using a blue color scheme. I've always liked Rosie ever since I found her in my campsite and she asked to replace Huck right away. Her house is my favorite to go to cause of how cute it is. I also added her pink glowing cheeks ^_^

i love judy so much. she combines my favorite colors blue, pink and purple and also she has a space theme.
her look is inspired by that.
