Dark Veil 2

I flip her off. Okay, maybe I don't care as much about Rapheal, but I do care about the others. I start shooting water spells.

I throw a couple knives at her head, shouting insults and staying out of her range.

I fight off each force, fanning away the fire and knocking James off his feet with my tail. I breathe fire in the mage girl's direction, swat the knives, and soak up the water spells. "YOU CAN'T STOP ME!" I laugh.

"Oh yes we can!" I say, summoning up my own fire spell, and singing the tip of her tail.

I get knocked back but am still fairly close to Echidna.
I run over to him and help him sit up. "James you moron, you're going to get yourself killed!"

I pick up my axe and get myself outside to where the others are. "I'll... Help!" I call, making my way over to them.

A sharp scream escapes my lips, before I slide to the ground, unconscious and bleeding.

"Fire doesn't stop me, *****!" I yell, thankful that I'd managed to perfect my fireproof abilities. The fire does however melt my blade, leaving me meaningless, so I throw a large rock at her instead. I don't notice Cindra being sent flying till it's too late.

James grits his teeth and tries to get to his feet. Out of anger, I pick up my weapon and run at her.
"Alex, no!" I say, slowly getting to my feet.

The pregnant one runs at me. I smile, thinking about the possibilities lost when she dies, ready to strike.

I come to, and this is what I see: Echidna and everybody desperately trying to defeat her. I decide to catch her by surprise. I sneak up behind her, sword ready to strike.

As I am about to attack the redhead, I feel a sharp twinge in my back. I scream in agony as I dissolve into green dust.

"Way to do my job, Aions," I say somewhat sarcastically.

Some blood trickles out of the side if my mouth as I lay in a heap at the foot of the wall.

I jump to the side and look at the dust. "Well done..." I mutter tiredly, out of breath. Due to all the exercise, I start to feel dizzy amd fall to my knees. Ouch.

"We have a hell of a lot of injured and exhausted people, we should probably get everyone back to the hotel," I say, now that Echidna is gone.

"I was actually about to do what you were going to do," I explain. I walk and see if everybody's OK, and I see Cindra on the ground, bleeding. I run to her. "Are you okay? Should I get a doctor?"
