I prefer Savory usually. But I'm always down for a trip to IHOP for some awesome pancakes or French toast!
At home, if I'm wanting breakfast food, it's usually scrambled eggs and maybe turkey bacon if I have that. But IHOP meals are like the best of both worlds and come with eggs turkey bacon and a hash brown with your pancakes (but its also a lot of food..).
Scrambled eggs and something salty like turkey bacon or a frozen hash brown (I rarely have the hash brown) feels better than a muffin or whatever at home. Less sleepy and fuller longer.
IHOP has a beef tips and eggs meal which is good if you don't want any sweetness.
Oh, don’t even get me started on breakfast food. It is my absolute fav!!! my family loves doing breakfast for dinner.
Some of my favorite things to make are my open faced smothered breakfast sandwiches, which consist of buttered and grilled Texas toast, breakfast, ham, fried eggs, and smothered with cream gravy. And if I have time side of hashbrowns because I absolutely adore hashbrowns.
I also love to make beignets and chocolate chip pumpkin muffins for the sweet side, but I don’t usually do those for dinner do those for actual breakfast.
Mixed. I usually prefer a savoury or salty breakfast more than a sweet one. I usually have eggs or bread for my breakfast. I guess you could say that fruit is sweet but I only have it because I am trying to eat healthier. On the weekend I soemtimes have something sweet like cinnamon rolls or blueberry pancakes with honey.
Used to sweet breakfast ever since I was little, so sweet for me. I did try savory breakfast while staying in an hotel in London though and it's nice too, but for me it wasn't breakfast, it was pre-lunch lmao!
Savory all the way. A sweet breakfast is kinda nice, but I usually have time in the day for something sweet, so why not fill up on savory food in the mean time?
I've got a sweet tooth in general, but I also love savory! I love savory snacks and I tend to prefer savory breakfast. In fact, I'm not sure why certain foods are labelled 'breakfast' foods, because I will often eat dinner leftovers for breakfast, etc.
My family is Taiwanese, and I remember one of my friends (who's family is from Hong Kong, I realized later) once invited me out to a 'Taiwanese breakfast' place. I remember thinking that it sounded super specific, but also filled such a huge nostalgia spot for me... But I suppose in my culture, Breakfast is a big deal!
I like savoury for sure! Sweet is great too but I find I'm almost always in the mood for something savoury. Usually some kind of breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and sausage or bacon will do it for me, or even just sausage/bacon with eggs and toast!
