Do you use weeds to decorate your island?

Yes! I really love using weeds. I'm still waiting for some to grow taller so my island becomes even more natural looking

Currently, no. However, I intend to. I'd agree it adds a nice look compared go a perfectly landscaped grass.
I just haven't reached a point yet where I'm ready to set them in certain areas till I finish designing.

Yes, the weeds are so pretty and full of variation and they don’t affect your rating so they work great!

Yes. I love how they change according to the season. The glowing moss are really pretty, especially in winter.

i really love how they expanded on the weeds designs even more. i use them almost everywhere on my springcore island! feels like it was just yesterday when i was forcing my mom to help me pluck my weed infested city folk town haha

it depends on how many lily of the valleys i want. if i need 20 of them for instance, i pull all of the weeds until i get the desired amount. after that i use them in designated areas.
they can make or break an area.

My first Island is literally a sorta abandoed town and fairycore/foresty core in the back, so weeds are helpful to show age, abandonment and foresty areas.
So I do plan on using more, as I am still designing.

I do notice however, that over time the weeds change to one specific style of weed that I am not a fan of? For example, I placed down like the lil grassy weed, but over time it becomes that really big weed? And it takes forever to get to the weed in my bags for the one I want again :/

I have recently been using custom weeds designs to display on the ground. They may not be as nice (blowing in the wind for example), but at least I can control the look of weeds on the ground!

Plus, if people ever visit my island, the real/fake weeds probably won't be noticed!

I've also been using custom weeds not just for that, but to give some variety of weeds.
It just means you need to take into account when to put down certain weeds before they're grown to full or not, if you plan to use it against a dream address.
I wish there was a more control to the weeds, but I do guess cause they are weeds they normally aren't controllable.

I do, but like with flowers, I trap them between (sometimes transparent) ground patterns or objects. I don't want them to spread too wildly when I take a break from the game.

Sort of. My island is a huge mess but I did put a few weeds in places I thought looked nice.

I do use weeds and glowmoss as decoration. But it's such a pain to have to maintain it. If I'm gone for a while or even a few days I need to prune all the extra stuff so it doesn't look so cluttered and ugly. The weeds don't really look natural when they 'infest' an area. I use a few around certain spots that are supposed to be run down, a natural spot, ect. But it's a never-ending job to keep pruning it all. And some spots are difficult to access so it takes even more time to remove the weeds when they start spreading.
