Gold Roses: don't get it XD

Aesthetically, they're alright to me, as gold-dipped roses IRL look even more fake and like they're trying too hard to me. XD Functionally, they're a good source of passive income, especially after cutting down almost all fruit trees to terraform, so they're funding my current island re-design project.

Each of my villagers got a gold rose in their yard, and the rest went around the other buildings.

I love them, but I agree they'd look better if the stem wasn't also gold haha
I mostly like to lightly spread them around my island along with white roses and cosmos c: it makes them look nicer that way rather than a whole row of them

i like gold roses, but they look weird outside. i wish the placed item gold roses were more like in new leaf, instead of a single flower in a vase. a planter of gold roses would look cool.

I love them and I love that they have a special look that makes them not look like a regular flower.

I use them as decor around my rocket which is next to my graveyard on the very top cliffs on my island.

I spent a long time growing some gold roses and then hid them all behind cliffs. Tbh the only flowers I like are Jacob's ladders, so I plan to replace all my others with those, apart from a few blue roses, which took me from March 20th until now to grow.

I'm not a fan of the roses at all. I don't know why but the other flowers like lilies are so much more beautiful.

And indeed the gold is even worse. I can't just find a good use for them. Except maybe 1 in my mini-museum in the library or if I make a new shop with expensive (read: kitsch) stuff haha but that's it.

i use them around the zodiac furniture or around nova lights sometimes but i try to not use as many.
but if you use them with white roses they look good i think.

I like to line them around the shores of the beach - They match well with the sands. Another idea is to decorate your Nookling Shop with them, along with Bell Trees to show that they're crazy rich. x)

I see their appeal for certain designs e.g.: winter wonderland, laboratory (creating something unnatural), or portion of a spooky-themed island. Could also work in contrast with natural-looking objects such as green mums or the log furniture but I've never liked them or liked using them.

For me personally, I love them and I love them specifically BECAUSE the entire thing is gold and not just the petals. If it were any other way I wouldn't mess with them at all the green would just be too damn ugly. If I had no inhibitions, I would smack them on every free acre of my island... but! I got none. I'd decorate my wishing area leading up to the observatory with them and all the matching gold zodiac items and some of the golden wedding decorations.... iF i HAd tHeM. I'd put a gold wreath on my observatory's door... If i HAD oNe. I'd gift a golden rose crown to my moon princess Ruby... iF I cOUlD cRafT iT. If I had to criticize one thing though, it would be the fact that they're more yellow gold. A reddish gold would've looked more elegant.

My love for them even extends to real life. There're people who take real roses and dip them in 24k gold and they look SO GOOD. Whenever I'm in a place where I could splurge 180 bucks on a golden rose I'd do it in a heartbeat and decorate my home with it. Put it in like a wooden vase for the contrast. A silver rose would also be really gorgeous (I've always wanted those in-game). It's a yes from me

I have 2, which is all I want. They are past of the rose border in my goddess sanctuary. Once I get blue rises, I'll have all colors there. Other than that, I don't use roses anywhere else.

I have a few gold roses and yes, they look very artificial. Just blend it with other flowers.

I only use one in my trophy flower valley (and it’s slightly obscured). Otherwise I don’t use ‘em. My mom has a whole field of them which she plucks every time they bloom though.

A trigger is something that makes mental illness symptoms worse, like triggering a panic attack, you don't need a trigger warning for an unpopular opinion.

They do look unnatural and I think they may fit our island's alien/space vibe because of that. They do look more out of place in natural settings. I can kind of understand the appeal for islands that may have a more "outlandish" theme, like for us our alien theme or maybe for a royal theme.

I don’t really have any strong opinions about gold roses I just think they’re alright. I use any gold roses that appears on my island top display outside ankha’s house.
