Have you completed your Museum?

It always takes me years to complete my museum and this game is no exception. Right now I'm not even close.

I've completed the art, fish and fossil sections and I just need a dung beetle for the bug section which I'm very proud of because in New Leaf I donated about 5 things total to the museum in a 2000 hour playtime lol

also, I'm very baffled by your flea thing. I caught a flea the first day they were available (April), and have caught loads of fleas afterward just to earn more friendship points. I'm pretty sure two of my villagers have a flea in their house right now because they asked me for it. do you talk to your villagers often? maybe you need to be good friends with them for fleas to spawn on them or something

No, but my villagers are very dirty so I got a flea. I just don't care enough to hunt every bug/fish.

I’ve BARELY made a dent in my museum. It’s so satisfying to watch it slowly fill up though, I can’t wait! I caught a whale shark earlier! It’s my first finned fish and my favourite fish so that’s convenient lol. I also donated a Valiant statue yesterday, I think the art section of the museum is so beautiful, i’m so dedicated on filling that up first

I completed the fossil section months ago, but over the summer I didn't catch a bunch of the beetles so now even if I catch up on everything I'll probably have to jump back and find the rest of the bugs! the art section I fear is going to take me forever to complete

I've completed the fossil and fish part of the museum with one bug left to finish the bug section (dung beetle).

My animals mustn't shower often as I see fleas on them most days.

I have 1335 hours logged in this game yet I still have never seen a single flea. It's the only thing I'm still missing from my museum.

I've had several islands (resets etc) and have not yet completed a museum. I have fossils completed and art, but not the critters.

Fleas are on villagers in spring and summer. I've caught lots of them. When villagers tell you they are itchy, you can scoop a flea right off them. You need to be close enough to get the flea without just whacking their heads with the net.

haven't finished the museum, but i've finished the fossils with the help of this forum haha
and regarding fleas, i had them all the time earlier this year when they were in season! odd you had an issue with them, my playtime was mainly my villagers going "oh no u found a flea my life is ruined help me noooooooooooooooooooooo"

I only have the fossil and fish section complete so far. I caught my last fish a few days ago! I have a feeling my bug section might be the last to be completed. I can easily time travel or buy artwork to complete the art section and I only have two deep sea critters to dive for. My bug section also only has two bugs to catch, the dung beetle and walking stick. I know I can catch the dung beetle soon enough but I have never seen a single walking stick on my island on top of the fact that they are also rare/hard because of camouflage. I think that'll be my very last donation for the whole museum lol.

I haven’t yet. I still need the dung beetle once it snows/snowballs spawn and 2 of the sea creatures in March.

My last fish was pond smelt.
My last bug will be a dung beetle.
My last art was the gallant statue I think.
I can’t remember what my last fossil it’s complete.
The two remaining sea creatures I need are spider crab and firefly squid.

I have finished the fossil and fish sections. I have one more bug to catch (dung beetle) and three more shellfish. My art section is almost halfway completed.

I've completed the fossil section, but not the fish, bugs or art. I don't really pay attention to fishing and bug catching unless I have reason to look for something specific and I'm in no hurry to finish out the museum, personally. It'll happen when it happens imo.

All that's left for me is the Dung Beetle for bugs, then the Firefly Squid & Spider Crab for deep-sea critters.

Everything else has been completed thanks to trading with lots of people. The pond smelt that became available this month helped me finish the fish exhibit a few days ago.

I donated a lot of fish, bugs and sea creatures when the ‘yes’ box shows but it’s all dependant on what time and if I bother wanting to.

I’ll complete it eventually but I’m trying to do it without trading

Have you finished your museum? - No. I've finished the fossil and fish exhibits. I'll finish bugs later this month, and then sea creatures within the next few months. Art'll probably take me yeeears.

Have you caught a flea? - Yes. My villagers are all flea-bitten little twits.

What was the last bug/fish/sea creature/art you found? - The most recent one I donated was I believe the lobster.

I’ve finished art and fossils. I have caught the flea since my villagers seem to carry one frequently.

I haven’t been fishing, diving or collecting bugs lately. I didn’t bring my game with me so I am not sure how many I’m missing.

Have you finished your museum? Not yet on either island: I’ve completed fossils on both, gone partway on art with both, I think I’ve completed fish on Arctin and not Evwirt, partway on sea critters on both, almost done with bugs on Arctin and partway done with Evwirt.

Have you caught a flea?
Yesh! I needed to in order to get the suffix that best fits my OC (wild child).

What was the last bug/fish/sea creature/art you found? Still working on them on Evwirt, but my last fish was the king salmon on Arctin and my last bug will be the dung beetle.
