I get a head cold once a year, rarely anything more serious than that. Except now. I've been home since Monday with the flu. I didn't get my shot this year, and I'm paying for it now.
I get sick two or three times a year, typically once or twice in Jan-March and once in Oct/Nov. The sucky thing is that sometimes it lasts up to three weeks I'm just finally about over a cold that started Jan 19.
I almost always feel ‘under the weather’ I seem to get a cold every few weeks, however I only get something more serious like the flu or tonsillitis around once a year
I get sick when the seasons or weather changes drastically. I live in the tropics so there aren't really 4 seasons but if it goes from really hot to really rainy and breezey all of the sudden, I tend to fall ill with a cold for a couple days.
My mom is the same way. Winters in Ohio are really crazy cause one day it'll be freezing outside, then for a few days it'll be 55F outside and suuuper windy, then it's rainy, then it's snowy and freezing again. I feel bad, seems like every time I talk to my mom she's sick cause the weather changes so much.
It feels like I'm sick every few months. I have a cold that comes with a runny nose and chest congestion that seems to keep returning. I have no idea why, but it makes me miserable.
I'd say between once in a while to every few months. I know that my last cold was somewhere around August when I was travelling and I haven't felt sick since then. I was actually shocked that I felt fine at Christmas as I'm known to always be ill around that time.
However, when I moved I got sick so often it was ridiculous. I'd have a cold nearly every month and constantly felt ill which was probably due to the change of environment.
i don't get them as often now as i used to but every now and then, i'm sick. i'm more the type that gets symptoms very often but never actually develops a serious illness
