Nintendo Direct 9.4.2019

I have watched the direct. The sword and shield was a bit silly trying to get people to buy it (the cooking thing wasn't a bad idea in my opinion)
I Am more excited for Animal Crossing

Anyway, I still haven?t watched the uploaded Direct, but I?ll do that later today and post my thoughts here.

Well, I didn?t get to it until now, but my thoughts:

I thought a lot of the games shown off in the beginning were kind of meh. That one game developed by GameFreak, Little Town Hero, looked somewhat interesting, but the rest don?t really stand out to me.

The new Pokemon and Animal Crossing news were probably the highlights of the Direct for me. Lastly, the Xenoblade Chronicles remake for the Switch is interesting, but I probably won?t pick it up because I beat the 3DS version last Christmas break. I do have to say though, I?m hoping this means the models for the characters and everything get updated to Switch standards as well. Playing the game on the 3DS for many years was fun, but the models used were kind of... disappointing.

And then of course there?s Fire Emblem Tokyo Mirage Sessions, but I?m only mildly interested in that and probably won?t pick it up unless I really want another Switch game.

Overall though, a pretty good Direct since we saw more of Animal Crossing.

Huh, I didn't know he'd been leaked ahead of time! I knew that an SNK character was coming, but a lot of people were saying it was going to be an "unpopular female character" so Terry wasn't even on my radar, haha.

Wasnt that a 4chan "leak"? It was like "Hey guys, credible anon leaker here its gonna be an unpopular female character from a mecha game" to "Hey guys sorry i was wrong about the entire thing cuz its actually a mecha dude"
And yea it wasnt directly revealed that terry would be the one but it seemed like the most obvious choice to me. If i wasnt aware of the SNK leak i wouldve been losing my marbles

Mostly the Animal Crossing and Pokemon was the biggest highlight to me. I don't really play any of the other games, so I kinda just ignored them for now. xD Anyway, I'm glad they showed more of Animal Crossing and Pokemon. Pokemon is actually looking pretty good with all the new character customization and the cooking part. Can't wait for these two games to come out.
