The problem with Super Nintendo will only really bring nostalgia to people in my age group.Their problem with the Wii U was naming it the Wii U and advertising mostly the controller and less the console itself. Slapping a 2 at the end worked great for the ps2.... and ps3 and 4 and 5. Just an anecdote but my family could never grasp that a 3ds wasn't just a ds but with a 3d screen, or that the xbox one was newer than the 360. Never had any issues with discerning that the ps4 game they seen wouldn't work on the ps3 or vice versa.
At the end of the day most people with consoles, especially Nintendo consoles, are families and children. And although something like Super Nintendo Switch will always be an awesome name, realistically speaking Switch 2 communicates what it is x10 better to grown ups and children simply will not care.
I think naming it 2 shows the switch is a current like ps1-5. Just my opinion.
